Seahouses is bustling. A handy spot for all your needs, for the kids theres the Farne shop with a huge array of toys, Crazy golf and a soft play. For the grown ups theres plenty of pubs (we love The Ship) and some lovely shops such as the Northumberland Hamper for gorgeous Northern products. Head here for fish and chips - we like Lewis's but theres so many to choose from.

A group of Islands off the Northumberland Coast. You can take a short boat trip to get to these, we like Billy Shiels who also offer a sunset cruise. Best time to see the puffins is from May-June. If you're lucky you can see whales, seals and dolphins too. Our children love these trips.

Somewhere to go in all weathers, we came with the chidren to visit Santa here in Dec and it was magical. There's plenty to do to fill in a whole day, if possible squeeze in a trip to the treehouse too as it's spectacular!
