Sightseeing

There is lots to see and do in the small city of Hereford. All the usual high street shops, plenty of car parks, plus the river front, welcoming pubs, and Cathedral. The nearest supermarket to the Cabin is the large Asda just this side of the city centre, but there is also Tescos on the Abergavenny road, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons.

Kilpeck Church and Castle ruins are perfect to visit by car, but its also possible to walk there from the Cabin. It is quite a good walk (approx. 6 miles) so not for the faint- hearted! This church is well- known for its unusual carving, including a Sheenanagig that is quite famous!

There are so many beautiful walks to go on in the Malverns; its approx. 45minutes from the Cabin, and well worth the drive. It also gives you the opportunity to stop off in the beautiful small town of Ledbury with its many half- timbered buildings, shops and pubs.
