Good entertainment area; food ok, drinks, sports bar, function area, pokies etc. Great views of the Copper Cove Marina where you can sit inside or out . Enjoy a meal and a drink and watch the boats come and go. You might even see some dolphins! Live music and DJs also, so have a look at their website for more information. Good entertainment area; food ok, drinks, sports bar, function area, pokies etc. Great views of the Copper Cove Marina where you can sit inside or out . Enjoy a meal and a drink and watch the boats come and go. You might even see some dolphins! Live music and DJs also, so have a look at their website for more information. Overlooking the jetty and Wallaroo Bay, this is a nice spot to relax and have a drink. They have restaurant dining, alfresco dining, takeaway and delivery. About a 15 min walk from my Airbnb. Beautiful views of Wallaroo Bay and Office Beach. Spectacular sunsets. Reserve a table by the window to enjoy a meal and drinks. Time it right during the warmer months (October through November) and you can see the ferry arrive into Wallaroo Bay on a Friday night. You might need to book to get a seat here. Lots of seafood and especially local seafood on the menu. Local prawns, garfish and whiting! Contact direct for opening hours especially during public holidays!

Places to Visit

North Beach

Must visit. Amazing clear waters and soft sands, this is "one of the top 10 beaches in South Australia", (South Australian Tourism Commission). Awesome café here also; North Beach Kitchen. Good food and coffee...cold drinks and ice creams.

Bird Islands Conservation Park Bird Islands Conservation Park is a 369 hectare conservation park incorporating land at Warburto Point on the mainland and two islands. Located about 10 km south of Wallaroo, additional land was added to the conservation park in 1991 & 1999 to include the intertidal zone of both islands, and to support mangroves, samphire and other vegetation.

Point Riley

From the front garden, Pt Riley is the bit of land you see stretching out into Spencer Gulf . Relax with a coffee on the park bench in the front yard; it overlooks Pt Riley and you can also see boats heading out that way to fish, or the ferry departing or arriving. Awesome views of Wallaroo Bay, the Gulf and Wallaroo if you head out there. About a 15-20 minute drive. 4WD recommended as dirt road is corrugated. I've done it in a smaller car, just DRIVE SLOW. Wildlife and birdlife on the way; rugged rocky coastline and cliffs when you get there. Get some take-away dinner and watch the sun setting over the Gulf. Turn left on Irwine St towards North Beach Turn left onto North Beach Road Turn right to stay on North Beach Road Continue straight onto Hopgood Road (unpaved) Turn left onto Point Riley Road (unpaved) and drive until you reach the Myponie Point roadsign. Explore a little further past the green and blue shacks!
