Food scene
There are many restaurants within walking distance of our home. A few that are in Edgartown. Atria is very nice and upscale. They often have weddings there so sometimes the outdoors is closed.
Port Hunter is right in town and has good food and music on many nights and is on Main Street

State Beach
For calm waters, the very closest beach is State Beach. We call it Bend in the Road. You go out our driveway, turn right and just keep going street and you will run right into it. It's about 10 minutes by bicycle. Sometimes it can be very hard to park, so beware if you take your car.
This is a beach that is accessible from the lighthouse and very close to town. Usually not very crowded. A bit of a hike from the road.
