When you tell people you came to Southport, they will ask if you went to Provisions. This place is unique. You order of a blackboard menu, grab your own beer out of the cooler (on the honor system) and find a seat on the deck overlooking the Yacht Basin. They bring your food out yelling your name. Plan to wait during summer months and it is closed in the winter.

This is where my husband and I go on the rare date night we get! The food is always wonderful and although it is a bit more upscale than the rest of Southport, jeans and polo and flip-flops wouldn't be out of place :). Southport is casual!

Literally on the corner of our property, this place makes wonderful fresh food for lunch with a menu that changes daily (they are closed Sunday and Monday). This is a great spot to pickup a light lunch to take with you to the beach.

Great breakfast spot that is an easy walk from The Inn. Located at the corner of Howe and 9th St. If you dont get there early during the summer, plan to wait a bit to be seated.

Boat rentals and tours! I grew up with Bobo (he knew me as Becky and he goes by Robert now, haha) here in Southport and he has added a wonderful service to our downtown. He has several tours that go out during the day that can be very informative and a great way to see the area from the water! He also has sunset cruises that he takes out. Please check directly with them for up to date schedules.
The dock is just to the left of Fishy Fishy Restaurant.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are small - 1950's cinderblock buildings don't allow for walls to move easily ;).
