Mammoth is a must see. Its about a 5 hour trip but the drive alone it worth it. On you way up, you''ll drive through one of California's epic deserts, pass a glacier, the beginning of the Sierra Nevada mts. and go past Mtn. Whitney. The drive slowly inclines reaching an altitude of 8k feet. A big difference from the 73ft above sea level, in Venice! Once you arrive to Mammoth, a brand new adventure is a head. Absolutely love this place :)
