Sorry guys and girls, but we are closing the Lodge for the winter from 1st Nov till March 31st. We can still accept bookings for spring next year, and we also have rooms available throughout the year in our Other listings at the same address. Awesome space in which to sleep, and socialize then wake up to amazing views! This deceptively spacious timber Reindeer Lodge comfortably sleeps four people easily. Perfect for a fun or romantic getaway or for some exquisite peace and quiet.
The Reindeer Lodge provides an unforgettable fun experience ! Privately set on its own decked terrace ,sheltered and secluded in its own space, in the two and a half acre grounds of our home on the edge of Exeter, you are in your own world! Beautifully atmospheric, it provides very spacious accommodation for up to four people giving an up market 'camping type' vibe...bit like a yurt..but better !! The eight sided space has seating all around the walls which converts to four bunk house style beds and still has seating remaining. Continental B/fast provided. All bedding and towels are provided and toilet and washing facilities (no shower) with hot water are in the main house, only 30 metres away from the lodge. Atmospheric lighting for the evenings is provided by battery powered lights and there are four electric power points in the lodge with a charging point for mobile phones etc. An electric fan heater is provided for chilly mornings/ nights. Free Wifi is available but can sometimes be weak inside the lodge tho good on the deck.
We are just a ten minute drive from the stunning Cathedral city of Exeter, the jewel of Devon, offering great independant shopping, bars, cafes and restaurants . The Quayside and the Cathedral are must sees ! Powderham Castle is less than fifteen minutes drive away and the two nearest beaches are a 20 minute drive away. Haldon Forest is less than ten minutes drive and Dartmoor National Park is less than thirty minutes drive. We are ten minutes away from the stunning River Exe and its estuary trails with walking and cycling paths to the seaside coastal town of Exmouth and to Powderham castle on the other side.

Estacionamento seguro no local. Pousadas locais, uma no Guia Michelin! Recomendaria altamente.

Spacious rooms in magnificent listed Georgian mansion - one of the most beautiful and oldest houses in Torquay. With up-to 5 rooms available it's ideal for families and groups of friends. Every room is large and bright. There's plenty of parking along with the peace and quiet of a secluded, totally private location.
On the 2nd floor are three double bedrooms, a huge sitting/dining room (with sofa bed), a shower room and a snug with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. On the floor below there is a spectacular double with private modern shower/wet room and access to a shared bathroom. With sea views from both of the double bedrooms and the sitting room on the second floor, we think you'll find these one of the nicest AirBnBs you'll have stayed in. If you choose to book the 3 rooms on the 2nd floor then you will have exclusive use of the shower room, snug (with microwave, fridge kettle and toaster) and massive sitting room; it's basically a three bedroomed apartment accessed through the main house. If you are booking for 9 or 10 people please be aware that one/two of these will need to use the sofa bed in the 2nd floor sitting room (or we can add a single bed to one of the double bedrooms).
Ideally situated for the Riviera International Centre, International Agatha Christie Festival, Torquay beach, the Princess theatre and Torquay station - all are a short walk away. The Chelston part of Torquay is a leafy suburb with lots of fine Victorian villas and the seafront is but a 10 minute walk. The award winning Cockington Court and historic Torre Abbey are both within easy walking distance.

Eu voltaria100%

Recomendado 5 estrelas!

Originally constructed in the 1890's this was the tack room for the neighbouring coach house and stables. It has recently been extended and renovated to create a holiday retreat. The accommodation consists of a bedroom with double bed, shower room and living/dining area with kitchen corner. There is underfloor heating throughout. Facilities include a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. A continental-style breakfast hamper is provided. The tack room will comfortably fit two people.
Holcombe is a small village set just off the main road between Dawlish and Teignmouth. The tack room is situated on the sea side of the road. The South West Coastal Path runs along the main road then diverting down to the sea towards Teignmouth and running alongside fields towards Dawlish. There are two pubs within a 5 minute walk, The Castle in the village and The Smugglers Inn just along the main road. Both serve food and the carvery at the Smugglers is a local hit.

My home is a terraced cottage in a quiet road with easy walking distance of the train station, town centre, harbour and beautiful local beaches. Parking is outside on the street. The space is cosy and intimate with lots of original artwork, books and a cat. I am generally out during the daytime, allowing guests privacy. I also enjoy to meet new people, share knowledge of the area and recommend places to walk, visit or eat out. I welcome guests from all backgrounds and countries.
The guest room is upstairs and the bed is a low futon which may not suit everybody. The bathroom is on ground level and is shared so asks for some flexibility. The kitchen is also shared and guests are welcome to use all appliances. I can provide a Continental breakfast or guests can self cater.
Teignmouth is both diverse and relaxing, with both coastal beaches and an inland working harbour. It has various waterfront cafes and pubs; watersports and rowing; a contemporary Theatre and performance art centre and many skilled local artists.

It is less than two miles (45 mins walk) to Dawlish along pretty country lanes. We've had many guests who have happily relied on public transport to explore the South West during their stay. The cottage is situated close to the long stretching beach of Dawlish Warren, a classic seaside holiday resort and world famous for bird watching. Dawlish and Dawlish Warren offer all the amenities you would expect from a seaside town with the added bonus of secluded spots to hide away from the world and enjoy the sand dunes and view over the sea.

A casa é impecavelmente limpa e acolhedora. Espero voltar novamente no futuro.

Grande valor! Altamente recomendado.
