This was our second stay here, and it was very enjoyable and comfortable. Great location for walking to town and to Creeper Trail. Firehouse very considerate of neighbors in turning on sirens after going up Tanner St.

Exactly as described. Up close and personal with nature. Perfect for being off grid for a couple days. Close to great hikes.

We had a wonderful week at Joe and Libby’s home. It was comfortable and so attractively and tastefully decorated. We grilled out several nights, sat on the rockers on the front porch to read, enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful landscape and just had a really relaxing stay. We biked and walked on the Virginia Creeper Trail and shopped in historic downtown Abingdon, which was only 15 minutes from the house. Joe and Libby were thoughtful and very responsive hosts, checking with us to be sure we had everything we needed. This was our second visit to Abingdon and definitely won’t be our last. Thank you, Joe and Libby!

WOW, all my wife and I can say is WOW! The views are 10x more breathtaking in person, pictures don’t do this place justice even tho the pictures on here are beautiful! My wife and I do trips once a month or every other month and we do A-LOT of Airbnb’s and this one is the best vacation we have ever been to! The A frame room was so peaceful and comfy. The pavilion was more than we expected! Thank you again Jessica for being an amazing host and making this an Airbnb for everyone to enjoy!!!!! PS our pup goes everywhere with us and when we got here the way he ran around smiling so big we already knew this was going to be an amazing experience 🙏✨

Mary and Vaughn's historic home in Abingdon was the perfect location for a long weekend reunion with friends. The house was large and well appointed with all the amenities that allowed us to enjoy our time in Abingdon. Being in walking distance of downtown and the start of the Virginia Creeper Trail was a big plus for our group of 5.

Very interesting stay. Our 1st reservation canceled due to storms knocking out power and water. We found Mary's place that morning and she responded immediately to our request. Unfortunately, while on our drive to Abingdon, the power went out at Mary's also but still had water. We decided to stay and Mary bent over backwards to help make our stay enjoyable. Luckily, the power came back on for our 2nd night. I would not hesitate to stay again. Mary and her family are wonderful people. They are the reason we had such a nice experience during the aftermath of such a horrible storm.

The cottage was a perfect place to stay for my wife’s trail race in Mendota. We enjoyed the cabin’s layout for staying with our youngster. The kitchen was well-equipped and while we didn’t get to use it, the deck looked like a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. It was super quiet—a perfect retreat.

I had a nice stay on King Street! I don't drive so the location was perfect with many options for food, shopping, and all of Main Street just around the corner. The home itself is quite nice and has everything one would need. I am recommending a deeper clean to the host since it's a ground floor home that can let some bugs/spiders and dust in, but that sort of thing is to be expected in such an area. I found the bed to be very comfortable and the bedroom was sufficiently quiet for this light sleeper! The bathroom was a bit challenging for me because there wasn't enough flat space for hair products etc. The shower is an open European style with glass screen, which have always been a challenge for me (wet floors, cold air), but no big deal for a short stay. Overall I was happy and felt at home after a day, and Mark was a good host. Pro-tip: There are outlets under the kitchen island! Took me a couple of days to notice them and it was a game-changer for charging convenience!
