Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

Wonderful cottage, in a perfect location. Gorgeous and peaceful lake front, with a bon fire spot overlooking it. Everything was nearly brand new (appliances, large tv, hot tub, bbq) Kayaks were great to use to explore the Lake. Friendly general store 5 mins away. Amazing sunset. Foosball. Don’t hesitate.

Amazing host, the dock is separate from the house, a 10 second walk, the hot tub and sauna are in the backyard. Water is very heavy and smells a lot, place is older and has bugs, but overall it was a great stay if you’re not picky. The hosts allowed us an early check in and late check out. Just because of their service I give them a 10/10

Jason’s place is perfect! A great clean home with everything you need. Large property right on the water. Gazebos, hot tub, large deck with water view. We had a fabulous week!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

What a gorgeous cottage with a breathtaking outdoor space! The perfect getaway with everything we could need! We loved the proximity to boutique shopping in Bobcaygeon and Lakefield, reading on the deck, the coffee nook and dining room for meals overlooking the lake and watching the sunrise from the hottub each morning. We were especially grateful to have been able to get away to such a clean, peaceful spot with our golden retrievers in tow :)

We stayed at this lovely friends cottage for one night during our trip to Hamilton and had a wonderful experience. We had a wonderful 10-night stay! The house is even better than how it seems in the pictures. Right on the lake, with a wall of large windows facing the lake directly. Washroom has a big bathtub and another large window facing the lake. The balcony and dock are right outside. The house is very well-stocked, and has a fully functional kitchen (good enough for actually living there). Bryan and Pam were quickly responsive and kind, and also generously accommodated an extra request of ours. Neighbors are close, but the windows facing them have curtains, and it feels private. We can't wait to come again!

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at York Riverscape. The cottage was well stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved not having to bring our own bedding and towels. The kids had a blast with the foosball table: Julie and Roger were responsive hosts and their cottage was exactly as described. We plan to return in the future.

Jesse was amazing throughout the whole trip! Prior to the stay, he was very responsive and informative. During our stay, he was always one message away whenever we needed him for something. He also went above and beyond by checking up on us to ensure that we were having a great time. The waterfront cottage was also amazing! The place was extremely beautiful and cozy. The cottage was very clean and it was very spacious. The backyard deck was large with an easily accessible fireplace and hot tub. This cottage also had canoes, kayaks, and lots of board games, which kept us very busy and entertained at all times! Basically, anything you would want or expect from a cottage during the warm seasons was available at this cottage! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun getaway! I would also definitely come back!

Had an amazing experience with the property. They took care of the tiniest details to give us all the comfort possible. Lots of board games, snorkeling equipment, extra linens, towels, super clean home. It just made our weekend an amazing one. Definitely chooding the property again. South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

Tracey was an amazing host. She checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and when we asked if there was a way to clear off some of the lake for skating during our stay she helped us hire one of her neighbours with a tractor! Everything was perfect. Thank you for making our Family Day Weekend so incredible!

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Our cottage stay was the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. From kayaking on the nearby lake, hiking scenic trails, to late-night board games and bonfires under the stars, every day was packed with activities we loved. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and fully stocked, making it easy to unwind after an active day. It was a well-spent getaway full of memories. we can’t wait to go back! Thomas and Tom were very accommodating hosts.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

Great location by the lake. The property was spacious just like the pictures. Lovely place to paddle and relax. All essentials were provided, it was a comfortable stay.

Erika and Adam's place had great amenities and everything we needed for a weekend stay. The communication was easy, the place was clean and plenty of outdoor space for our group. This will be a spot we hope to repeat sometime.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.
