Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Tree Dome

Nestled under a canopy of trees on an elevated platform, our Tree Dome offers the simple joys of the great outdoors with the benefit of luxurious glamping accommodation. For nature cravers, adventure chasers, peace and quiet seekers, star gazers and memory makers. Set within 45 acres of private secluded woodland with many walks on the doorstep. The setting is in natural woodland. There is very little light pollution which enables guests to enjoy clear starry skies weather permitting.

Light & spacious studio, 5 minute drive from Hay

The Studio in Priory Wood is a recently converted separate outbuilding next to our home which offers complete privacy and has a spacious, light interior tastefully furnished in a retro style. The Studio is 3 miles outside the beautiful town of Hay on Wye, on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons and famous for its bookshops and annual literature, music and walking festivals as well as a host of charming independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a cinema and weekly farmers market.

Enjoy the wildlife view from your king size bed, woodburning stove, additional heating and air conditioning. Relax on the private decking area, outdoor dining with a barbeque and firepit for toasting marshmallows amongst the trees. The mattresses can be brought down from the loft area for younger children. We offer a unique stay on our small holding where you can relax and rejuvenate while watching our flock of Clun Forest Sheep graze in front of you. We are ideally located for those wishing to attend Hay Festival & Royal Welsh. Also a great escape for walking and cycling enthusiasts with so many opportunities to explore our glorious countryside right on our doorstep.

The Little House in the Mountains - just for Two!

Chill out in our love-nest made for two in the beautiful Black Mountains! The cute wooden house has ALL mod cons, complete with small, perfectly formed kitchen, a wood burning stove (free logs) and a comfy double bed with spectacular pillow views of the Black Hill. In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!

Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.
