We had a lovely stay, we will definitely return! Communication was great and the views are amazing. It was very clean and there are comfy beds.

Myself with a group of friends stayed at Rob an Alison's place for 3 nights. Though it was 2hrs away from the starting point for the hike we came for (Ben Macdui), we chose to stay here due to the amenities it had. We found the place to be exactly as described; fully-functional, with the exception of one of the showers upstairs which ran lukewarm. That however, was not much of a bother and not worth mentioning had it not been for writing this review, given that afterthoughts of the property are overwhelmingly positive; the BBQ grill was easy to use and very efficient, whilst the hot-tub and nearby lake can make for a great Nordic spa experience. Rob and Alison are also fantastic hosts and responded extremely quickly to any queries, prior to and during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We loved the place, and is actually better than it looks in the pictures. A lovely cottage , very spacious and well located. Clancy is a lovely host, very responsive and recommended places for us to visit. Checked in with us to ensure we were settled, got us milk and eggs and little treats, which we found extremely thoughtful and useful considering we were visiting just before Christmas. Would highly recommend this place, the village is small but nice and easily walkable. Drivable distance from Inverness, Ullapool, Loch Ness and other places. Would happily stay again.

The Garden Cottage was lovely. There is the ruins of a castle built in 1179 in the backyard. Katie was friendly and responsive. I can't say enough good things about the cottage, the land, the espresso machine and the surrounding nature. I hated leaving.

We loved Julie’s place! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Fort Augustus and a great base from which to explore the Highlands. The house is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and very spacious for the 6 of us. Julie provided a great welcome with treats and even crackers ready for our Christmas meal. The kitchen is very well equipped. Nice garden and plenty of space for parking. Very highly recommended, would love to come back.

Lovely property. Spotless and well equipped kitchen . Only downside I can think of would be the ceiling height of the bedrooms, but that wasn’t a huge issue. Everything else was perfect .

Lovely place and area. Great local pub. Lovely walks. Very responsive owners. Very clean and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely to sit by the fire, plenty of coal and wood supplied.

Great value stay in a great location, close to all amenities in Aviemore

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

What a beautiful location with so much to do and see. Views right out of the apartment were spectacular We kayaked, played soccer, badminton went swimming, played pool - so much fun!

This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Abtei sehr geliebt - wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Harry Potter in Hogwarts. Die Wohnung war sauber, gute ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Außenanlage der Abtei ist ein Traum und der Pool ganz wunderbar!

We had a wonderful stay at Rose's place. Fabulous place, cosy and great location. I loved star watching from the skylight in the bedroom! Lovely finishing touches of decor, fab kitchen, extremely comfy bed and very warm apartment despite the thick snow and minus temperatures outside. Will return again in the future if we can. Definitely recommend 100%

Me, my partner, two of our close friends and our greyhound Louis had a magical week at the boathouse. Not only were we blessed with end to end sunshine, but the boat house was so wonderful, that for several days we didn't leave the accommodation. The photos on here do not do the boathouse justice, it was spotless and brimming with character - not to mention the bathrooms were wonderful! Huge recommendation would be to bring or rent a kayak for the lake, we spent hours having fun on there and it would be the perfect pastime for children too! Perfect spot for a couples holiday, a romantic getaway, or even a family holiday! We will definitely be back.

Lovely family cottage in beautiful surroundings! Well equipped, comfortable and cosy cottage within the stunning grounds of St Benedict’s abbey. Having the facilities such as the swimming pool, gym and play park for the children was a real bonus. Lovely dog walks nearby and very close to lots of different cafes, restaurants and easy access to walk along the Caledonian canal.

Peter and Amanda are amazing hosts! The old charm of the cottage was perfect, with beautiful flower gardens, ducks and birds. Just a very short walk to Loch Ness look out point, great restaurants and shopping. Perfect location for us to venture out to explore the Highlands. They seemed to genuinely care for their guests! Didn’t spot Nessie, so may have to do a return trip! Highly Recommend!!

This stay was so amazing! It felt really special. The natural location on the canal was its selling point. We used the fire pit and hot tub and walked up and down the canal. Really thoughtful furniture, decor, supplies, and clean bed had us all feeling at home. We enjoyed watching the birds, rabbit, deer, sheep, and Torence, the lawn mower rumba. Cheers!

Gorgeous well located cottage, opposite the Lochness hub (info centre) & bang in the middle of the village next to the green. Kate is a lovely responsive host, who adds a personal touch. It was the first time a host left dog treats, tennis ball, blankets & bowls for our dog too, which was so lovely. The cottage is well equipped, charming, with lovely decor. Garden to right is an absolute sun-trap, we could sit out in T-shirts in April with a beer. We spent most of our days hiking 13k+, first we did from the cottage, second drove to Glen Affric. We had a beautiful take out from the Chinese & brought back pizza from the Italian. The Fiddler’s won’t allow dogs in, you must sit outside so we only did lunch there, but one night we had a lovely meal (booked ahead) at the Lockness inn 15 min walk away. If we’d been back from hiking sooner the cafe on the green would have been a good option too, it serves beer & has a nice garden. You won’t regret booking this gem, Thanks Kate :)

Our stay was short but lovely the place was neat, everything was well explained. We still made a mistake finding the location but totally our fault, yet Bart was there to help! The house location is really nice totally worth the visit assigned parking for the car was a huge plus. Thank you for hosting us

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay. The highlight for us was watching the deer out of the kitchen window on two separate occasions. Wonderful base for exploring the area. Would love to come back stay again and explore some more.
