The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. The garden is fenced and completely private. It has a patio area with a table and seating with a BBQ/fire pit. The area is renowned for its peace and tranquility offering a quiet, relaxing break with all the mod cons. Beaches within 40 mins and local shop 15mins away. Main shopping centre 30mins away.

The Dairy Shed is a self-contained converted barn with a wildflower roof. An 8 minute drive to the harbour town of Aberaeron, it is the perfect base to explore the stunning Cardigan Bay coastline. On your doorstep is plenty to see and do- the newly refurbished Ty Glyn hotel, bar and restaurant is a 10 minute walk away. Equally inviting is firing up the wood burner or sitting out with the fire pit on your own private deck to enjoy the uninterrupted views of the surrounding Aeron Valley.

Glovers Cottage is without doubt something unique. As you enter you will be struck by the space and the overwhelming character of this detached building. The owner has deliberately left the barn open-plan for guests to appreciate the huge A-frame beams and stonework. A feature handmade bed sits on the first level as you enter, and this area leads down two steps to the flagstone floor.
