This was truly a beautiful location and a perfect place to stay. The house is very new and is fitted out with all the modern conveniences that made our stay a delight, with comfortable beds, plenty of lounge seating and everything you need to make you comfortable. We enjoyed the double sided fireplace and especially loved a quick dip in the hot tub, which was kept in immaculate condition. There was also an amazing restaurant in town that we thoroughly enjoyed called Cypress Tree and would highly recommend guests visit as part of their stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a great stay. The remote location and wood burning stove plus wood burning hot tub made things feel very cozy and unique. We had a blast keeping the fires going and spending time in the tub on the deck and watching deer and birds go by. Highly recommend the experience!

Great house and nice location too. Quiet but still handy to town. Loved the views and the outdoor bath is a nice touch. Owner was easy to deal with. The weather was not the best at time while we were there so it was great to have a nice place to relax in. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home. Thank you so much Raquel and Eduard for providing such a special place!

Raylee’s home was truly exceptional. It was peaceful, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. The views of Mt Ruapehu were stunning, especially from the hot tub, and every detail in the home reflected care and comfort. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, the beds were luxuriously comfortable, and the space was spotless, warm, and welcoming. We loved the blend of modern convenience with nature’s beauty and the easy access to trails, town, and the mountain. Raylee was an outstanding host who was responsive, kind, and full of local insight. This was more than just accommodation. It was a deeply nourishing and restful experience. Every moment felt spacious and grounding and we left feeling so grateful. We would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely five stars in every way. Thank you Raylee for your aroha and generosity. What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Was very pleased to find a fridge and freezer as we weren’t sure if there would be one. Lovely clean area and comfortable bedding. Looks small but is spacious and homely. Amazing outdoor bath which was perfect for the cold weather we had. Awesome communication from James. Thanks so much. Comfortable and cosy. Lovely spa pool and fire with firewood and kindling ready to go. Only complaint was the dim lighting in the living area which made reading and board games hard to see. Other than that, we loved it and would recommend to others.

What a beautiful peaceful setting. The lack of wifi and internet connection added to the restfulness. The spa pool was such a treat in the evenings. The outdoor shower provided a warm shower and was a unique experience. An absolutely lovely getaway, very closely situated to Palmerston North. Would absolutely recommend of you want a bit of an off-grid experience!
