A rustic, riverfront getaway just downstream from a WVDNR Trout Stock Point, beside the Mountain Rail WV Durbin Station, & 30 miles from Snowshoe. Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

CrossRoads Cottage B&B Wifi Available

CrossRoads Cottage, established in 2013, is a small cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, tv room/bedroom and kitchen. Guests have the convenience of the entire house. Note: Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the cottage. Note: Price includes up to 4 guests at the cottage. Each additional guest will be $10 extra to accommodate for food, linens, and water useage. Note: There will be a $250 fee for smoking and/or pet violations

"Trout & About" Cabin located in Bemis, WV is the perfect place to unplug & enjoy the Appalachian Mountains located just 50 ft off the banks of the Shavers Fork River. Come enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking to Mule Hole & take a train ride to High Falls. Drive over the hill to Glady you will find the walking & bike trails of the West Fork Rail Trail. Come disconnect and unwind while taking in the beautiful WV mountains and fresh air. Please note there is NO cell service in the area.

Bordering the Shaver Fork and Monongahela National Forest, the cottage is a relaxing retreat. It boasts two living areas-a bedroom and great room that can accommodate six people. Paths to hike, trails to bike and fish to catch. Seneca Rocks, diverse eateries, unusual shops, Blackwater Falls and Canaan State Parks, Dolly Sods, four ski resorts, Otter Creek, four excursion trains, a dinner music theatre, four festivals,and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory are all nearby.

Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. The Nook is a play on our popular property, The Rail Hus, located in Elkins, WV as it embodies our signature Scandinavian, minimalistic modern style. The Nook is a quaint place perfect for one or two people. It is centrally located right at the access to Route 33 towards the Canaan area and a minute or two from the downtown district. The Nook has a private second floor porch and private parking.
