The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Our studio suite has its own entrance and patio under a pergola with a view of fruit trees and expansive gardens on 1.25 acres of privacy. Descend the trail from our home to a beautiful and secluded sandy beach. Enjoy beach walking from our private trail to the sandy beach below as well as nearby Kye Bay Beach, marine/bird life. Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

This suite is located on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to Powell Lake, to a lovely ocean beach, our local brewery and a boutique mall with cafe, bakery, grocery store and other cool shops. The space has wonderful amenities including a spa-worthy bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and two patio spaces.

Cozy 240 sq ft tiny cabin with all the essentials, including washer/dryer, small oven, fridge, and microwave. Features an indoor shower plus a seasonal outdoor shower (hot & cold, May–Sept). Private deck, seating area, and propane fire pit. Walk to Palm Beach and the Sunshine Coast Trail. Convenience/liquor store nearby. 15 min to Saltery Bay ferry, 20 min to Comox ferry.

The We Cabin is a peaceful and cozy hideaway; nestled in nature, yet conveniently located to all the Comox Valley has to offer. Five minutes away from YQQ, Little River Ferry Terminal, beautiful beaches, trails, downtown Comox, brew pubs and wineries - and less than 30 minutes to Mount Washington.
