Inspired by the Backcountry huts throughout the area, it provides a rustic country-style experience. Situated 15 minutes outside of Twizel in the heart of the Mackenzie, it has direct access to all of the natural amenities that the area is world famous for including snow sports, mountaineering, hiking & tramping, mountain-biking, hunting & fishing among many other activities.

The apartment features a queen bed & an open-plan layout that includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining, & living area. Sliding doors open from the lounge onto a sunny patio. Kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, cooktop, microwave, fridge-freezer, & all the essential cooking utensils. A convenient laundry cupboard houses a washing machine, & a heat pump provides year-round comfort.

Set in Lake Pukaki in the Canterbury region, near Twizel, Pukaki Lakeside Getaway House has superb mountain and lake views. You have the whole house to yourselves, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, large dining and living areas with satellite flat-screen TV, wi-fi, a balcony/patio for outdoor living and 4 bedrooms. Lake Pukaki is a short walk down the hill from the house. Lake Tekapo is 50km away and the town of Twizel is 10km miles away. Mt Cook is a 40 minute drive away.

This lovely popular two storey house is affordable, clean, comfortable, warm, family-friendly and spacious. It comes with free WiFi (fibre) and linen. We offer a flexible cancellation policy especially during lockdown. The house is situated on the quiet western side of town with breath taking views of the Ben Ohau ranges and surrounding mountains. It’s unique easy-living design makes it elegant yet homely. It has a large fully fenced back yard with a furnished patio area and a BBQ.

Black Cottage Twizel

This brand new modern two bedroom cottage is perfect for relaxing. It has high quality fittings, fixtures and appliances, you will also be very comfortable year round with the heat pump. Entrance can be through the internal garage, great for winter months, or via the covered veranda, which happens to be perfect for morning coffee in the sun. The cottage boasts a beautiful bathroom with underfloor heating and two bedrooms. It is located in a quiet area, walking distance to town.

Whether you are fishing, cycling, tramping, enjoying the lakes in the summer, skiing in the winter or just taking in the scenery we want to make your stay a memorable one. Everything is at your fingertips in this fully self contained unit.

Cosy Accommodation

Brand new unit with ensuite. Your stay will be private as the house beside the unit is our holiday residence and won't be occupied. There is a toaster, kettle, microwave, small fridge, cutlery and crockery provided. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. Linen is provided alone with 2 towels, 2 faceclothes and a hand towel. There is off street parking and it is about a 10 min walk into the township or to the river.

Blue Cottage - Twizel, very private close to town.

This newly built cottage has 1 bedroom, sleeping up to 2 guests. (no children) Located in a Private setting close to town. Only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and shops and restaurants. You can relax on the deck or on the sheltered private lawn surrounded by fruit trees. Fully self-contained with a kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Kitchen includes fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, bench top stove, cutlery and crockery.
