I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful and very peaceful stay at the little cottage. Everything was as described with all the necessities. Guy and Tanya were so helpful and friendly and had great communication. I absolutely loved the location and view of the mountain from my bed every morning. The grounds were so well kept and all the plants, flowers and trees surrounding the cottage were magical. I extended my stay and would have stayed longer if it was available. Sonya, the housekeeper was also amazing and took great care of the house each week. The place is also very safe, behind 2 security gates. Small things like being able to do laundry and have my clothes hanging in the sun to dry, the birds singing every morning and visits from their sweet dog were extra little touches that make this such a great place. If I'm ever in Johannesburg again, I would definitely return!

Val and Mike are great hosts and their place is fantastic, prefect place to rest from a long day and the location is fantastic.

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

We had a great family stay at Talia and Schalk's and would love to stay again. Among the many highlights are: beautiful large property with gardens, nearby park, backup power, great linens, affordable help available for occasional cleaning, and above all super friendly hosts. We also appreciated: high chair and baby bed were available, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements, the house and street are quiet and private, and it was easy to get to nearby shopping, restaurants etc. Thanks for having us!

The place was a beauty. Very safe Pretoria block so the location was great. The apartment is as good as it looks like and a little bit more! If in Pretoria and looking for safety, a clean and beautiful, peaceful place, definitely in the list!

We had such a great stay this past weekend! Check-in was completely seamless, and the host was incredibly friendly with top-notch communication and super clear instructions throughout. The place itself is beautiful—just as described in the listing. One thing worth mentioning is the backyard: it's much more spacious and lovely in person than it looks in the photos. It was one of the highlights of our stay! My friends and I were so happy with everything—highly recommend!

Our stay with Sindie was short and sweet. We had a medium sized group of people which resulted in African time booking (late booking) and Sindie was there to help us with our stay. We had a minor hiccup with getting in the upon booking which was quickly resolved. The place looked exactly like the pictures, with all amenities in place and as advertised. It was spotless and the other tenants surrounding us were also nice to us. I would definitely book with Sindie again, she gave us a lovely weekend

I had several specific needs for my 5-week stay, and this place fit all of them. Large parking area and huge yard for the dog. He really loved it there and never wanted to leave. The cottage is almost completely open plan from the kitchen to the bathroom, with one room accessed from the outside (I didn't use this room because it was just me + Puppy). Simba, who is renting the house on the property, is a pleasure to have around. Great communication from the owners, who make you feel like you've known them forever.

We had an absolute wonderful weekend stay at this lovely place! Claudie, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and ensured we had everything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. Communication with Claudie was seamless, with prompt responses to all our queries. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable weekend escape.

This was my first time staying at this apartment. Will and Arial are wonderful hosts. I felt incredibly at home and welcomed during my stay. The apartment is impeccably clean, just as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, with hot water available for showering at all times. The hosts were always available to assist me whenever I needed help. This will be my go-to place whenever I am in Johannesburg, and I highly recommend it to others.

Anna and Roland were amazing!!! I did arrive a bit late in the evening and they welcomed me, even assisted with my luggage. Had a little welcome gift of sweets and fruit basket. The cottage is spacious, had everything I needed and is close to Delta Park, a lot of greenery in the area. It did rain the whole time I was there and even had ice blocking the entrance gate but Roland was there to shovel and clear some of it in the pathway so I can get in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, felt free and would definitely go back again to stay even longer. They are lovely, I definitely recommend this Lavender Cottage 💯

The location is stunning. Sue’s property to beautifully maintained. Magnificent homes in a luxury country style estate that is safe and quiet. Easy access to the highway.

We really liked staying at Debbie’s house. The setting is lovely and the house was both spacious and comfortable. Debbie is a great host and her added touches such as coffee, rusks, fruit made the house really homely and were much appreciated.

The stay was nothing short of amazing. It really was so hard to leave because of the peace of mind you get there. Not only was the place itself really beautiful but our host, Zander was so friendly and helpful, making you feel at home.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The Short stay here made me feel very at home and although i left halfway for other things，i would definitely choose this place Again if i needed to return to Johannesburg😄
