Cozy Four-Season Lakefront Cabin

Private getaway in Chalk River on quiet Corry Lake. No neighbours in sight. Canoe, paddle board, swim, hike in the beautiful forest right next door, sit on the covered porch with lake view, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen :) Can work from home with WIFI and cell reception! Fully equipped for all year round. 8 people can fit comfortably (but rooms small).Semi-secluded location. 20 mins to nearest town. Check out online guidebook.

The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Private Studio, with no direct interaction with the hosts. About 15 minutes from Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa by car. For an additional fee (and subject to availability), you can access the spa, sauna, and cold plunge pool. A lunchbox breakfast is included. Perfect for workers or tourists. We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the studio). The studio is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

The two bedrooms accommodate 4 guests comfortably. We have high-speed wireless internet, satellite and Roku TV. All essentials supplied. Hiking, bicycle, ATV and sled trails along with ski hills are all within short driving distance. Your dog is welcome here! Winter tires needed on snowy days.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
