Rushton's Retreat

Enjoy your stay in our super spacious loft, in a convenient location only 2 minutes from quaint River John and 2 minutes from beautiful Rushton's Beach. You will have the entire loft to yourself with a large deck, bbq and comfy patio furniture to laze the days away. A short walk down the easement brings you to our private beach where our 2 person kayak awaits you. Rushton's Retreat is here to give you all of the comforts of home without having to pack the entire house. Come and relax!

Built in 2018, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor, along with open concept kitchen and great room. The great room has cathedral ceiling with lots of pot lights, windows all around and loads of natural light streaming in. French patio doors from the kitchen and master bedroom open onto the deck area with stunning views of the Northumberland Strait. Downstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry room and another family room which all have stunning views of the ocean.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Sunrise Cottage

Sunrise Cottage is located in Toney River, a small fishing community located about 15 minutes past the Pictou rotary on the Sunrise Trail, and is within walking distance of the scenic river and wharf. The large, sunny back deck faces the Northumberland Straight with beautiful views of the water and PEI. Just a 5 minute walk down the lane will bring you to a private beach where you will find the warmest ocean waters in Canada. Sunsets are spectacular!
