Pico Island: aluguel por temporada em vila

La maison est très agréable à vivre, le seul vis à vis est avec la mer. Très paisible on serait bien resté plus longtemps. Le restaurant le magma est très bien pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner, une viande délicieuse. Des hôtes souriants disponibles.

My wife and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon. We loved the location, aesthetic, views, and the staff at lava homes and were pleasantly surprised when we were told that breakfast at the magma restaurant was included. This is a great destination for people wanting a more resort like feeling. We stayed in multiple airbnbs in the açores and this was by FAR the most luxurious one. My wife loved the beautiful gardens and landscaping. There are plenty of delicious restaurants and bars and a beautiful swimming location in close proximity which my wife and I walked too, but if you have mobility issues you will definitely need a car. The surrounding area is very steep. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Pico.

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

We stayed Sept 1-Sept 6 as part of a 2 week trip to Madeira & Azores. Our other accommodations were hotels on either end of our trip. It was a lovely change to have a house in between. The space was perfect for my husband and me! The house is what we in New Hampshire, USA refer to as a “camp”-seasonal home, casual comfort (not luxury) with all of the basics. We prepped a couple of simple meals. The neighbors are close and seemed friendly. We were out exploring each day so did not interact. Someone does have chickens and a rooster. That didn’t bother us. I read a review complaining of bugs. We saw none except one tiny spider on the last day. The house was very clean and a great home base for our Pico adventures. Tips: Keep the key with you because it was easy to get locked out. (Our bad-Thank you Ana for being so responsive). Need a car. There’s a decent market 5-10 minutes away heading west on ER1. We found a supermarket 20 minutes away in Madalena that was better.

Nelson is a great host. the location was great and super easy to use as a base to explore the island. supermarket was also near as well as the city center. this is a great location for families with kids, as the house has a separate garden away from the road.

Vielen Dank für die kleinen Präsente , die Marmelade typisch von hier und lecker! Cristiana gab sich sehr viel Mühe, sprach gut Englisch und antwortete sehr schnell auf Fragen. Zudem ist sie sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich! Danke dafür! Auch extra Handtücher wurden schnell gebracht. Abends der Balkon bei Vollmond - echt super! Die fantastische Ruhe tat mir aus Berlin einfach nur gut!

Vitamin Sea Azores was just perfect! It was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked with brand new appliances, and exceptionally clean. We rented out both top and bottom apartments, for the five of us, with lots of rooms and space to spare. The pool is well maintained with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside and ocean. Bed sheets were first class! Our host Britanny was also first class as she had everything we needed to make us feel right at home, and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. Location was also great because it was just a short car ride to downtown Horta with so many great restaurants as well as other beautiful places in island of Faial. We also took the ferry over to the island of Pico, for a day tour, which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and return to such a natural and relaxing place.

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.

The location of Lava Homes is very unique. The view is stunning. The property is immaculate. It takes your breathe away to see the summit of Pico Mountain to your left and the island of Sao Jorge in front of you across the Atlantic. It’s worth the price for the uniqueness of this property.

A view that can't be beat backed by a luxurious home that's a joy to live in. The staff are top notch and the breakfast is quite good. Dinner at Magma was 4.5 stars. Friends are coming next year and they will stay here for sure.

Beautiful place inside out. Very well located in between the view of Pico and the sea. We couldn’t find a better place to visit the island.

The views from our Lava home were absolutely incredible! The free breakfast was good ,loved the Portuguese pastries and cake .All the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful . We ate at Magma several times and the food was very good . The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress,just a bit firm for us .

We loved our stay at the Lava Homes! It was much too short but will definitely be back. Ana, who checked us in was awesome and very helpful. The house was pristine and you can't beat the view. I will recommend the Lava Homes to all of my friends. The Magma restaurant was outstanding as well.

My wife and I planned this trip in 2019 for 2020 and COVID happened. We replanned and made it to Pico this week. It was worth the wait. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff were superb. The food at their Magma restaurant was delicious. Everyone was friendly wherever we went. Can’t say enough good things about. Fair warning… it is very very hilly on Pico. Even walking up and down the hill between our “house” and Magma was challenging. But,as I said, it was well worth it.

This is a perfect place to stay. Luxury accommodation with great value for money. The views from each of the houses is beautiful across the island and towards Sao Jorge. Great restaurant with good home cooking - good for multiple nights. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful interior design in a modern and luxury way but using local materials and components. Well-equipped kitchen and BBQ but we opted to eat in the restaurant as it was so good. Beautiful swimming pool with an adjacent yoga studio which we took full advantage of. Charming hosts and staff! The island is beautiful and lava homes is well situated to visit all the attractions. The best place we stayed in the Azores!

One of the nicest, most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in!! Cannot say enough about the views, spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail and warm greetings from the host, including wine, bread, ham and cheese when we arrived. All so thoughtful, and playing three holes of mini golf was a fun addition. Highly recommend!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhaft ruhiger Lage, direkt an den Weinfeldern. Alles war in einem hervorragenden Zustand und bei gutem Wetter kann man perfekt draußen frühstücken. Wir wurden mit einem tollen Präsentkorb empfangen und der Vermieter war jederzeit für Empfehlungen oder Fragen ansprechbar. Der Pool war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, es gibt auch eine Outdoorküche mit Grill und Sitzgelegenheiten. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic accommodation. Very clean, had a well equipped kitchen (picnic supplies), and the pool was very refreshing. Joao and Sol were excellent hosts and provided a welcome basket with local treats on our arrival. Would highly recommend.
