This place is highly recommended! This cottage is absolutely adorable, it sits beside Dominique and Alain's house on a cute little pond. There are cats and geese and ducks wandering around, but they didn't make any noise at all! Inside, the cottage is so clever in the layout, with everything you need, from kitchen supplies (vinegar, oil, salt, sugar) to blankets and thick towels. The bed was very comfortable and the Vellux blinds kept it very dark upstairs. Alain gave me tips on hiking (I did the Ballade des Katts walk to the monastery directly from the path beside the property). The local beer in the fridge was a very nice touch and the WiFi worked perfectly, which was good because the cell reception was patchy. The landscape is beautiful and the WWI sights are poignant and well signposted. Don't miss the daily 8 pm commemoration for the fallen in Ypres at the Menon Gate. When the bagpipes played Amazing Grace, there were tears...

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Martine, très accueillante. Le logement est fonctionnel et chaleureux, très bien situé, l'environnement paisible. Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cette location, nous reviendrons !

Madeline had made prior arrangements and greeted me at the door. She is delightful. She communicated clearly, had great suggestions and local information. The place is charming and immaculate. I loved it.

Freddy is een geweldige gastheer. Het vakantiehuis was precies zoals in de advertentie beschreven. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en vers!

J’ai passé une excellente nuit chez Odette. Elle était une hôte très accueillante et attentionnée. Elle nous a préparé un délicieux petit-déjeuner et l’ambiance était chaleureuse, comme à la maison. Ons verblijf was heerlijk. Mooie woning en Nadine kan uitmuntend koken. We kregen een zelfgemaakt 3 gangenmenu. De kinderen konden lekker spelen met het speelgoed op zolder en het ontbijt was perfect. Nadine is tevens erg vriendelijk

Dominique und ihr Ehemann betreiben mit Liebe die Unterkunft. Alles ist nett und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns trotz Sprachbarrieren wohlgefühlt.

La casa es preciosa y esta decorada con mucho gusto. Los cuartos son amplios y las camas comodas, perfecto para descansar y relajarase. La casa ademas tiene un jardin muy bonito para disfrutar de un gran desayuno si es que hace buen tiempo. Paul y su madre fueron muy atentos durante nuestra estancia, haciendonos sentir como en casa. Desde la casa se pueden visitar lugares de interes a tan solo quince minutos o media hora, como Mers-les-Bains o La Baie de Somme. Es muy buen sitio desde donde descubrir la zona de la costa de Normandia. Muchas gracias por acogernos!

En rando vélo, nous avons fait une halte chez Patricia. Nos échangent ont été agréables et utiles . Le logement est fidèle à la description, la décoration est soignée et tout est fait pour que l’on se sente bien. Mention spéciale au petit déjeuner de qualité, livré devant la porte de la chambre. Le local vélo est aussi un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Le logement de Martine et Didier a rempli toutes nos attentes. Super propre, fonctionnel, mignon et pratique. L'endroit est très chouette, et la maison charmante, à l'image de ses propriétaires. Martine et Didier nous ont accueilli avec simplicité et en sachant comment trouver le bon équilibre entre accueil chaleureux, et intimité, si souhaitée. Le bon petit déjeuner, avec confitures maison, les conseils sur les environs et les conversations intéressantes en bonus nous ont bcp plu (on a même eu droit à un petit pot de pesto d'ail des ours à emporter). Tout ce que personnellement nous attendons d'un super air bnb.

Die Lage ist toll. Die Zimmer sind schön und das Frühstück war auch ein Traum.

Cathy en haar man zijn de liefste, behulpzaamste hosts ooit. Ze hebben de kamer en badkamer voor de gasten heel gezellig gemaakt, koffie en thee op de kamer, heerlijk bed. Je slaapt op de bovenste verdieping dus helemaal privé. We kregen een heerlijk ontbijt met verse croissants en vers brood. We vonden het hartverwarmend allemaal voor dit bedrag. Het dorpje is niet veel aan maar voor een doorreis is het een topplek!

La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable, au calme dans un beau petit village, non loin de la mer et bien situé pour explorer cette belle région. Le pain et les croissants fait maison étaient délicieux, et Marie-Noëlle et son mari étaient disponibles et très accueillants, nous reviendrons sûrement.

Madam Bridgette’s Chateau is fabulous. Very clean, peaceful, beautiful period furniture and there’s a private lake. Bridgette looks after all her guests with care and makes everyone feel welcome to her home. This was our second visit. Highly recommend!

Que dire? Des hôtes très sympathique, je me suis cru dans ma famille. Un séjour reposant, un petit déjeuner fourni très bon. Je recommande! Allez y les yeux fermés. Merci Agnès et Samuel!

Charming historic house with modern amenities. Isabelle was very friendly, helpful, greeted us and showed us the functioning of the house. House was clean. With coffee and tea provided. Safe neighborhood. Location next to major attractions. Isabelle is a great host. Highly recommended

If you're looking for a beautiful, spacious house in a quiet location - this is it! We were a party of 11 and yet there was plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax. There is a gorgeous kitchen, complete with Aga, extensive veranda with table/chairs/BBQ, and massive but secluded garden. It was absolutely perfect for a reunion involving lots of young adults and their not so young parents! Camber Sands and Rye are a very short drive away, but it was very tempting to just chill out and enjoy the house while we had it - would definitely come again.

This was more than anything we could have hoped for. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. The accommodations were clean, and had everything we needed. The host left us fresh baked bread and pastries every morning from the bakery in town. We had a great time and would be happy to return.

Endroit très sympathique et paisible au bord de l'eau. Ariane s'est montrée flexible et accueillante. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. On recommande.

Beautiful, cosy apartment in one of the best cycling spots of Belgium, with beautiful views and a nice pool. Very friendly and helpful host, with lots of great tips for a good time in and around Geraardsbergen.
