Acorn Barn a unique former cow house

Get away from it all with a cosy stay in a unique little barn conversion on a small holding with poultry, sheep and pigs. Acorn Barn sits at the end of its own driveway across a field set above a small CAMC 5cl. At night you may hear owls in the valley and the usual country noises by day from nearby working farms although the barn itself is double glazed and previous guests haven’t found any noises intrusive. You can see the railway line and look down on the duck pond and watch the poultry.

An Bowgy (little shack ) is a single storey cabin style building located behind the village store in the ancient village of Veryan . A great place from which to start your exploration of the Roseland Penninsula and the rest of cornwall. The local pub is a mere stumble down the road. There are wonderful coastal and country walks , just minutes away from An Bowgy. Our beaches Pendower & Carne are just over a mile away ,when the tide is out it becomes one beach .

Your own garden and private sitting area with sofa, chairs, fire pit and BBQ with free use of canoes and paddle boards. Lovely dogs welcome. Totally charming and all just for you . You will be the only guests at the property. We are doing some improvement works in early 2024 and will not open until Easter 24.
