Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

Vierailitiin jo toista kertaa tässä kohteessa. Erinomainen sijainti Äkäslompolo- järven rannalla hienoin maisemin ja samalla kuitenkin keskellä Äkäslompolon kylän taajamaa lähellä kaikkia palveluja. Lähes pihasta pääsi hiihtämään järven jäälle ja hiihtoreiteille. Yhtenä iltana ihailtiin upeita revontulia Äkäslompolo- järven jäällä. Uusi moderni talo, kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Kaikki meni hienosti ja oli mukava viettää jälleen talvilomaa kohteessa. Kiitos Matti.

Loistava majoitus, hieno kylpyhuone/sauna. biljardipöytä oli mukava viihdyke lapselle. Hiihtoladut menivät lähellä ja koirapuisto aivan vieressä oli myös plussaa 👍🏼

We've been lucky enough to have a lot of great Air BnB experiences, but Saija's place has to be the best. The decor and lighting is so cozy and welcoming. And I cannot express the lengths she has gone to to ensure it has everything you need, even down to spare toothbrushes. All instructions were clear, and comprehensive, and for anything else, Saija was very quick to respond with the answer. The location is ideal, in between Rovaniemi centre and Santa Claus Village. And within walking distance to Ounasvaara, which is so beautiful. We brought the sleds from the apartment for the kids, and that was one of the highlights of their trip! Overall, a really great place to stay that we'll have fond memories of forever. Would highly recommend.

Tout était parfait ! Hote très réactif. Chalet entier situé à proximité du centre d’akasalompo au milieu des sapins et dans un cadre très agréable. Le logement était fidèle la description, bien équipé et très propre. Je recommends et je reviendrais avec plaisir.

Grandmother's house 🥰❤️ That is the feeling I had since stepping in and loved it. It felt very cosy and warm, old furniture but had everything we needed. Great location, I honestly felt sad to leave the place. Hoping to go back again next winter. Great garden for the kids to play in with swings and beautiful sauna. Fireplace was lovely and host very friendly. Unfortunately igloo wasn't up because of the snow level but that is mother nature and it reflects in no way on the host. Also lovely woods and lake close by, we enjoyed sledging the girls there, it takes 5 min. Thanks for everything

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Logement très agréable, propre, spacieux et lumineux. Il est proche du centre ville et des commodité. La présence de la route à proximité du logement pourrait gêner la nuit à cause du bruit et de la lumière, mais ça n’a pas été un problème pour nous.

una casa davvero spaziosa, silenziosa, letti comodissimi, elettrodomestici nuovi, tanti utensili e prodotti da poter utilizzare, che potrebbe essere la casa in cui si vive tutti i giorni. La sauna fantastica.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Enjoyed our stay with our 2 young children who absolutely loved the apartment, especially the climbing wall and rings in their room. A lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the Santa Park and Santa Claus Village. The scenery and surrounding lake was stunning, especially in the snow. Anna was great host always on hand to answer any questions on the run up to our stay and during. Anna gave lots of practical advice and really helped us arrange our time and travel arrangements well. I really couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Anna!

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

This is an ideal place to stay in Lapland. It is 20 mins drive from the airport and Santa Clause visit, so easy to reach, but also in a very quiet and idyllic location. The host is very friendly and always easy to contact. I took my daughters (8 and 11) and they loved it, especially the sledging around the cabin. Also a great spot to see the northern lights.

The apartment is located in a beautiful neighbourhood, overlooking a lake that was frozen when we arrived. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. The apartment is super cozy and has everything that one needs during his/her stay. We were three, and we thought that the space was perfectly sized for us. The railway station and the city centre are all at a walkable distance, with some stunning views on the way. All in all, I loved my time here and can’t wait to be back.

This villa was exceptional! Impeccably clean and well-equipped with great interior design. The sauna with a forest view was a highlight. Mikko and Leena were excellent communicators. Quiet location, yet close to everything. Highly recommend and will stay again!

Es war alles wie beschrieben. Wir hatten schöne, ruhige und entspannte Tage. Die Sauna und der Blick in die Natur war unser Highlight.

If you’re thinking about booking Paula’s Cabin — don’t hesitate. It’s not just a cabin stay, it’s an experience. Paula is the kind of host everyone dreams of: thoughtful, helpful, and always two steps ahead. She’s like your personal assistant during your trip — while respecting your privacy. The cabin is spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped: espresso machine, induction stove, oven, and even running water (not common in cabins like this!). There are proper blinds (yes, you’ll sleep well even when it’s bright all night) and the bed is super comfy. The toilet is outside, but heated — amazing. The wood-fired sauna (& water) by the lake is magical. Paula even made sure we could ice-bathe in the frozen lake! She provided all the firewood we needed and more. So many things to do: (ice) fishing, biking , BBQ, Games etc. — and still didn’t try everything. We’ll definitely come back when it’s darker. I can’t imagine a better spot to watch the Northern Lights. 10/10 stay!

Als wir angekommen sind, haben wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gibt einem das Gefühl von Zuhause. Der CheckIn mit dem Türcode ist wunderbar einfach und so ist man nie auf einen Schlüssel angewiesen - sehr praktisch. Für vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder hat das Haus eine gute Größe. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Wir hätten allerdings noch einen weiteren Kleiderschrank gut gefunden, was aber keine Problem war. Alles sieht aus wie auf den Fotos und wir fanden es vor Ort sogar noch viel schöner. Die Lage des Hauses war für uns ebenfalls perfekt: Mitten im ruhigen Wald, 10 Min mit dem Auto zur Stadt und 4 Min mit dem Auto zum Skigebiet Ylläs Nord. Die Küche und das Bad mit der Sauna waren ebenfalls super und alles sehr sauber. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und wir würden wiederkommen.

Teemu and Tanja’s cabin is absolutely magical. Everything you need is there: a fireplace, beautiful view, enough equipment to catch your own food or just to make something easy at home. With the traditional sauna on your own premisses it could not be more relaxed. A private tour on the snowmobile with Tanja and het brother Terro to see the area, go ice fishing and search for wildlife was incredible. They are the most friendly people and make you feel welcome. We coudnt have a better honeymoon. Thank you!

baita perfetta! pulita, ben arredata, fornita di tutto ciò che può servire. La sauna facile da usare, piacevole per il rientro dopo una giornata fredda. posizione meravigliosa, in un bosco ma a cinque minuti dalla strada principale e da un supermercato. non c'è un vero e proprio paese ma si trovano ristoranti nelle vicinanze. assolutamente consigliata!
