This home is beyond words in its beauty—peaceful, serene, and the perfect escape. We even had the incredible experience of seeing a deer leap across the river. The house was spotless, with super comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed and more. The selection of board games was also fantastic. Randal was an excellent host, always just a quick text away if we needed anything. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Our stay was perfect. The peaceful, scenic views made it feel like a true escape. Everything was so clean and thoughtfully put together. Waking up to that view and stargazing at night was absolutely incredible. It was the downtime our bodies and souls needed! Such a refreshing break from our usual chaotic routine. We would highly recommend Buffalo Bliss to anyone that is looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and beauty.

Great house, just like the listing. Very peaceful setting in a really quiet area, but still close to available amenities. The kitchen is the best equipped AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Overall a great place to stay, and Mike and Dora are excellent hosts.

Nothing fancy, just basic and clean. Had all we needed. I would stay again. I appreciate the hospitality.

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

The views were spectacular, woke up at 6am one morning and you could hear the cows mooing about 3000 ft. down in the valley...very comfortable house...the one negative was no room darkening curtains and I am very light sensitive...we really didn't want to leave!!!...and Mt. Airy NC about 23 minutes away(Andy Griffithsbirthplace) was a step back in time...you feel like you're in Mayberry!......

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. We had a fantastic stay at Olde Beau, and Bryan was extremely helpful setting up our vacation and felt all of our needs would be meet. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt secluded among mountain views. We played a few rounds on the well groomed golf course.And enjoyed adventures at the near by Stone Mountain. The area has a lot to offer and explore. Highly recommend for a mountain escape.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Park Place was exactly what I needed--a reasonably priced, pet friendly place near the VA NC border. It was not far off the Interstate and was easy to find. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed and more (snacks, toiletries). It was also very quiet--no Interstate traffic noise. I drive to NC via this route often and will stay here again.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

We had a great stay at Keepin it Real! This condo has everything you could ever need and more. Hosts were very responsive from booking through stay. They definitely did a great job utilizing the small space-two people is the perfect number. Very comfortable and clean. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Dollar General is close, groceries about 10 minutes away. Very nice deck with nice furniture. There are quite a few steps down to the condo from the parking lot and down to the pool. Dogs have to be walked up near the parking lot in the grassy area. There is no lake access for swimming-just for boats.

Everything was just as described. Beds were super comfy and linens were soft and warm! The photos of pilot mountain in the back yard do not do it justice! Must see in person!

This couldn't be more private or peaceful...the grounds are beautiful with trees, flowers, two fountains, so many places to sit and relax and then you have a pool and hot tub. A beautiful area to dine outside with a grill. Our dogs loved exploring the yard. Stefi offers many ideas on places to visit and to eat, which was so helpful. We will definitely book with Stefi again.

If you are looking for a getaway place to unwind and to get away from all the noise city life this is your place. The cabin is extremely well decorated and with all the amenities that you could need. We encounter a few herd of deer just in the backyard; so pecefull and quite. A suggestion , read the guest manual, I trusted on Google for stores near and unfortunately drove to stores way further away, this could have been easy avoided if I have read the guest manual book. Rebeca was a great host and always available.

Aaron was kind and accessible. The RV was very comfortable and clean. Im coming back soon!

John was very easy to work with - helpful with local information! The kitchen was beyond stocked with everything you might need to cook almost any meal! There was a LOT of stairs to get to the house - but we were told that in advance so really no surprises. The views were second to none!

Being from the Bassett area, we travel there quite a bit. We've stayed in several places there, and by far Spencer's place was the best so far. Everything was clean, beautiful high end furnishings, quiet area, and easily driveable to attractions and necessities. Spencer was a great host who responded very quickly to any query. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the area.

These folks run a top-tier stay in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mts. My family enjoyed the getaway, and we soaked up all of the air and sun that we could! Simply put, we are already planning our return next spring. Thank you so much!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The home was cozy, spotless, and in a perfect location. Heather went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Their two dogs were so adorable and friendly — they made the stay feel even more welcoming. Plus, they had a piano that sounded absolutely beautiful — it added such a peaceful, homey touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere that truly feels like a home away from home!

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.
