Northland: hospedarias

This small cottage was everything we could have asked for, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and helpful, friendly hosts. The location is ideal most of Northland, including the Cape, East and West coasts. We would have no hesitation in going back when we next visit New Zealand, we left with still much to see and do. If you are staying over a weekend, the Kerikeri market on a Saturday morning is not to be missed.

Unfortunately a cyclone rolled through while I was staying at Vicki‘s place. I got to walk around the first day that I was there and enjoyed the house for an evening, but the power went out so I had to cut my stay short. When I woke up, Vicki had left pancakes and hot water for me to make coffee. She also gave me a refund for my second night. She had gone above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.

Place is very accessible to our destination. Peaceful and quiet at night. We enjoyed the spa and the good looking view from the bedroom. Just few things, no heatpump available at the unit but its not that cold just make sure all windows are closed and the wifi isn’t that accessible maybe because the wifi itself is at the main house? But the reception is fine we just used our data. Vanessa is very accommodating, responsive when you need something and they gave us some welcome platter (raw rish), overall stay is very good. Might come back again next time. Thank you!

We loved our stay with Kathy and Bryon! The place was lovely, so clean and comfortable and they thought of everything! We especially appreciated the stocked pantry and fridge essentials. The area is beautiful. The beach is so close by and the town was a close drive away. We came with plans to go to the beach, hike, adventure etc but cyclone Tam had other plans. So we instead had the coziest, relaxing time while we hunkered down waiting for the rains and wind to pass. It was honestly just what we needed. We will definitely be back soon. Such a stunning spot. Tea’s place was everything we were hoping for and more. We just loved the vibe of the space for endless rounds of cards and snuggling up at night, listening to the roar of the sea. The perfect spot for connecting with family and faves.

We loved our stay in the cabin. The view overlooking the bay was amazing and we saw some great sunsets. The space was really comfortable and tidy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues, and it was perfect for their needs while working away from home. The communication with the hosts was excellent and made the booking process and any adjustments extremely smooth and easy. I would definitely book again in the future.

The pictures do not do it justice. Its a lovely space. Its got a homely feel, small but ideal for us. Its close to town but quiet. It had everything we needed to cook meals and even had an outside space to sit out, though it didnt get much sun this time of year. There are bikes to use and we didnt need to get the car out much. Small cars just fit into the garage fine....its definitely one I would recommend.

Prefect place for a water sports weekend. The outdoor shower is fantastic and great for coming back from the beach. Accommodation is homely, we are very grateful for our time. Thank you Kat!

This was a lovely cottage. Very spacious (we liked the separate bedroom, bathroom and living room), comfortable and very well equipped. The location was in a very peaceful and private location and only a few minutes drive to a good selection of cafes and restaurants . Brett was a friendly and very helpful host We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at this beautiful getaway and were able to enjoy a few days of relaxing in a beautiful part of Aotearoa . It was extremely private and secluded, a perfect spot for some peace and quiet whilst still being extremely luxurious and close to Auckland.

the place was beautiful furnished, a real home away from home. there was a cute little basket full of good information about the area, walks, restaurants, and other useful information. The kitchen was amazingly stocked, there even Marmite! It was a cold ish weekend, the place was nice and warm without need for heating (which was available) Aroha was super responsive and great to deal with. the place looks quite small from outside but is actually super roomey. walking distance to the beach with a great view from the deck, I can imagine how great it would be on a summer day! Loved everything about it, highly recommend and will definitely stay there again if Aroha will have us :)

Very nice and comfortable studio. Only disappointments were weak wifi and the washing machine was not working.

Joanne’s place is a great place to stay, with lots to do, including being able to connect various streaming accounts to the tv to keep you occupied throughout the night. We didn’t spend too much time in the room as we wanted to get around and sight see as well as going to our event. The recommendations that she has left in a book had helped us out too, with restaurants and things to do locally. Overall, great experience with a lovely host

We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Modern, clean and tidy unit with everything we needed. We received a warm welcome from Brian. Thanks to Hilary and Brian for having us.

If you looking for a cosy, clean and creative cottage that feels like home, Quail cottage is just the best. Lovely neighbourhood: quiet, flat, great for bike riding, easy 5 mim walk to estuary and quick drive into town and beach. lovely home: lots of interesting pieces, books, games, beautiful garden and tramp. Beds are super comfy with lovely crisp, cotton linen and couches huge and just delish to lounge around on. Kitchenette is small but practical and great bathroom with a huge shower perfect for post beach cleaning. Honor was incredible from check in to check out. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Eileen's place is great! We stayed for a couple weeks. Even though it's not a full kitchen it's well equipped for some cooking. The gardens and view are beautiful and the place feels like a home. The food and tea/coffee provided was very generous. It was really lovely chatting with Eileen and we really appreciated her local knowledge. Highly recommend :)

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit vier Wohnungen , neu und modern eingerichtet. Autostellplatz auf dem Grundstück und Gasgrill vorhanden. Direkt am breiten und langen Strand, mit direktem Zugang, gelegen. Atemberaubender Strandblick von der Terrasse und aus dem Hauptschlafzimmer der oberen Wohnung! Sehr schön für einen Strandurlaub! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Elaine was so lovely! She gave us recommendations for food! She was so kind with the wood fire she would help us keep it running! Location is absolutely beautiful and will be back :)

Hattie was great to work with and very kind. The house pets were also very cute and sweet. The view from the property is amazing as well! Great little place for a weekend getaway and the nearby towns were great for exploring. Hattie kept us informed of everything was available for anything we needed.

A characterful peaceful oasis. Our host was incredibly warm and friendly. The location is wonderful… views of the beach, right near the amazing boat shed cafe (you must go..atmosphere, coffee and fab food) and close to the ferry. Don’t miss a guided tour of Clendon House! (Follow your nose, almost right next door and fascinating. The guides stunning in their knowledge and enthusiasm). Overall…I highly recommend this place! And … a big sincere thank you!
