Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

Mountain Ski Lodge, Deep Snow and Warm Comfort

This spacious 200 sqm Canadian Style luxury cabin set on an 3.5 acres property with easy car access to multiple winter sports and summer activities features a comfortable living area including a wood stove, two bedrooms, and a living room equipped with a double size sofa bed. It can accommodate 3 to 4 families. A large playroom boasting an epic bouldering wall, a ping pong table and numerous board games completes this unique vacation property. A pickle ball set and AC units were added in 2024.

Silver Daisy Stay Nikko | Hinoki 檜 (Unit 2)

The Hinoki Suite is a private chalet with a loft, tatami room, kitchen, large table, Hinoki bath, and terrace. The loft (low ceiling) sleeps 2 in a queen bed plus 1 on a futon. The tatami room sleeps 3 on futons. Your exclusive Hinoki bath house is located outside, steps across the terrace. Daily private 1-hour sauna sessions with sauna wear are included. Enjoy free luggage storage before check-in/after check-out and complimentary washer/dryer use. All guests can enjoy our little zen garden.

Warm Wooden Chalet next to Onsen and Skilift

Tamanegi is a whole new type of construction for Nozawa Onsen. Best insulated and eco construction in the village. Amazing views and warm wooden feel. Right in town and only 50 Meters to the nearest public Onsen. Super close to the first chair lift Karasawa. 2 Fully equipped kitchen, 2 x bathroom and 3 floors so great for group of friends or 2 families. The basement has a big play area for kids. The chalet is built in Japanese-Swiss style and offers 2 great living and kitchen areas.

Nozawa Cottage near the slopes

Nozawa Cottage is set right across the road from the slopes,so you can ski in ski out and it’s only 150 meters to the main Nagasaka Gondola! You can kick back in the living room and watch people gliding down the powder on one of Nozawa’s steepest runs, catch the ski jumpers on the Olympic Jump Course, or watch the kids slide past the door. Nozawa Cottage has a pretty unique layout. The building is shaped like a triangle, and we fully renovated recently with a contemporary feel.
