We started our journey here and what a great start it was! The rooms are just amazing, from the kitchen to the bedroom and my personal favorite, the shower. But just as good: the outside. The pool with the warm water was our favorite place, but do not skip the morning walks inside the gardens - we saw so many animals, mainly birds, but also a sloth and a tiny anteater.

Very nice hosts and a very peaceful stay! Loved the agriculture and views around the place. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to the town of La fortuna. It was perfect!

This place is truly unbelievable! I enjoyed every second of it. It’s beautiful and extremely cozy. Extremely clean and private. Erick and his wife are extremely thoughtful they left bread, eggs, water and orange juice. I can’t wait to come back

What an amazing place to stay! The views through big windows are beautiful, the outdoor area is stunning, we loved hanging out outside in the evenings and early mornings to watch the birds and listen to the jungle. We have seen more birds in our back yard than at some guided tours in the rainforest. We heard howler monkeys as well. There are frogs that usually come out after it rains and little geckos are adorable. Everything was in working order. The mini split in the downstairs bedroom worked very well. I only wish there was another AC unit upstairs or at least a big ceiling fan as upstairs gets very very warm during the day but it cools off in the evening enough for a comfortable sleep. I highly recommend this accommodation, it was a highlight of our trip.

Uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he hospedado. Las fotos no logran describir lo increíble del lugar, lo bonito de las amenidades y lo impecable que estaba la cabaña. La comunicación con Elias fue increíble y más bien siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar con todo y responder de inmediato. No di 6 estrellas porque no se puede, pero merece más que 5!!!

we loved this place so much we stayed for the second time in 8 days. this is the best place in the area and we will stay here when we travel to the Arenal area. so peaceful and quiet with all kinds of birds and the trees, plants and flowers especially on the walking trails. it's a fairly short walk but worth the time. close to town to walk to everything. the pool is so nice and private. the inside of the cabin is well equipped with comfortable King bed and great shower. the hammock is a nice touch. love this place and highly recommend it because it's awesome and Mau is a great host.

La vue du balcon est tout simplement magnifique. Toutes les commoditiés y sont et la propreté est irréprochable. C'était notre deuxième séjour là bas, la cuisine est nouvellement rénovée et géniale. Vraiment nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner, la famille Silvio's a vraiment à coeur le bien de ses clients, vraiment la Casa Del Sol est extraordinaire!

Magnifique petite maison tranquille. Le chemin en arrière de la maison est également magnifique et c’est parfait pour une petite marche pour apprécier la nature. Je reviendrai certainement ici !

Muy satisfechos con el alojamiento, la cabaña muy cómoda y espaciosa. La vista al bosque es increíble y la tranquilidad del lugar ya que se encuentra lejos de casas o carreteras, ubicación estratégica para disfrutar de las actividades de fortuna y lugares aledaños. Y la mejor parte lo comoda que es la cama. Sin duda volveré.

Lovely cabin with beautiful surrounding garden. Helpful host picked us up from San Jose and brought us to the cabin. Only negative aspect of our stay was the construction next door but that is outside of their control. Would recommend if looking for peaceful surroundings.

We’re really glad we chose Silvia’s cozy hideaway tree house. It felt like we were in the middle of the rainforest, yet we were just a short distance from town — the best of both worlds. Waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning was such a treat. The place felt private and peaceful, and although the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed. One small suggestion: a drying rack for clothes would be a great addition, especially for guests coming back from a hot spring or canyoning adventure. All in all, a lovely stay!

My dad and I stayed at Irene’s and she was a tremendous host. She was responsive when we had any questions, the place is serene and beautiful, the pool was awesome, lots of wildlife around including frogs, lizards, basilisks, birds, and toucans. Also, the river was so peaceful to walk to during the day. Thank you Irene!

Everything about our stay here was a dream, I didn’t want to leave! This place is a little piece of paradise and is so much more than we expected. The place was so clean, the water pressure in the shower was amazing, the property was spectacular! We loved taking a dip in the pool each evening and hearing the howler monkeys each morning, the different birds and other wildlife! Michele is an amazing host - always looking out for his guests and providing advice and recommendations based on our daily plans each time we ran into him - he truly cares about his guests and wants your stay to be as perfect as you do. He let us check in early when we arrived in Montezuma, he also recommended we check out late as he had no guests coming the day we left. I cannot say anything bad about this place!

Very nice and spacious house surrounded by beautiful large garden with its own creek, giving it a perfectly anonymous privacy. Highly recommended!

everything went smoothly, the house was very well equiped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The view and the surroundings are very very nice! Cristina took us around her little coffee plantation and we watched a wonderful sunset!

Wir hatten die beste Zeit! Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern gezeigt und wirklich sehr schön. Es ist sehr ruhig und der Pool ist super. Wir haben die Zeit bei Sandra mehr als genossen. Sie ist eine großartige Gastgeberin, die immer antwortet, sehr zuvorkommend ist und alles löst! Wir können die Unterkunft mehr als empfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! 😊

One of my favorite stays during my month in CR. The property is beautiful, nested between Montezuma and Cabuya. You're surrounded by jungle colors and sounds. The home itself has a lot of magic, and Yotam and his partner Noa were proactive, warm, and helpful hosts - absolutely lovely. I especially adored the well-equipped and kitchen and all of the evenings in the hammock watching the rain. It's a jungle cabin - expect some bugs. I would love to come back here one day.

Absolutely gorgeous place! We had a lot of privacy and it was overall a wonderful experience. Diego was very responsive and helpful, especially when I messed up the alarm and set it off (sorry!). Saw lots of wildlife walk right up to our porch and even a basilisk who kept trying to get in through the back patio doors. Highly recommend!

Gerardo was great and the place is very unique. Complimentary coffee was awesome. Bed was a bit firm for me but that’s just personal preference. If you don’t mind being about 25 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, then this place is a must stay!

Beautiful spot to stay before our flight. As other reviewers have said, there are so many birds you can watch right from the screen porch. We also found that Uber's can find the place easily and took us into Liberia to eat at a restaurant and to bring us to the airport.

We very much enjoyed our stay here while visiting La Fortuna! They met us for check in which was so helpful. Katherine and Christopher were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We took a much needed soak in the hot tub after a long day of travel. It was so nice to sit on the porch in the mornings and have a cup of coffee while listening to all the sounds of nature. The property has a small trail down to a creek with beautiful flora and fauna. The food here is delicious! We highly recommend taking advantage of this benefit while staying here. They bring the food right to your door. We were able to get transportation into town easily. We did not have a car. We had a wonderful time here!
