Beautiful place, inside and out. As others have said, the pictures don't even do it justice for the amount of space. Clean, comfortable, very well stocked, everything you could ask for and more. Hosted a birthday weekend for my husband and all our friends who couldn't say enough about the choice. We were 4 couples and it worked great but also would be perfect for familes. We visited late April but would LOVE to visit again in the warmer months and take full advantage of the amazing lake and all the toys. We did make good use of the hot tub though with its gorgeous view. Only small observation would be that a second bathroom, even a small powder room, would be nice for a place this size. The host responded quickly to any questions. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend Dan. We will hopefully be lucky enough to get to return to your place!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

We had a great stay at Lisa’s place. It fit the five of us comfortably with more than enough space. The neighborhood was quiet but still an easy walk to everything we needed. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend or a longer-term stay, it’s an excellent choice. Would absolutely book again!

Jane’s cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the view of the water and taking long dog walks in the bush. Sitting in front of the log fire with my coffee was my favourite thing. Jane was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early. We highly recommend Jane’s cabin. We had a fabulous stay.

This was simply breathtaking. My guests and I could not believe how amazing the sights were from the cabin. Even though the lake was frozen, it was still a wonderful things to experience and see. All they could ask was how I was able to find something that beautiful. I’m definitely looking forward to going back. I wish we had places like this in the US.

The location was very convenient—close to the highway, which made it easy to get in and out of the city. There were plenty of shopping plazas nearby for anything we needed. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were welcoming and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place and good location

We enjoyed our stay at Philip's place - a nice, clean, modern space within easy walking distance of the Westboro Village shopping area. We would recommend, and stay again!

I was lucky enough to happen to meet Dean on arrival and as we were leaving, I met Patricia on her way back from a walk. Both were pleasant and welcoming, and this was reflected in the space. We were more than satisfied with the level of comfort provided, and the amenities provided are beyond considerate. It felt like home and judging by the guest book, many others are sharing this sentiment on their way through. The Ottawa River's current was strong this weekend, and we were in awe getting to view it, though we kept a respectable distance... Patricia did mention a surfing competition happening up the river! We were able to take the trail from the house up to breakfast at Astoria Bistro. From there, we could walk to the Canadian Museum of History. Overall, it was a great place to stay during our trip, and we are glad to have had the opportunity this weekend. Thank-you 😊

This place is simply magical. So much attention to detail and not just Indoors about also in the outdoor space. The home is cozy and the sunsets are divine. My family stayed there for Easter and played games, threw the football around, and fed the goats. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend (and I’ve stayed in.a lot of airbnbs internationally). Even if you are local to Ottawa, you will feel as though you have taken a vacation at this space!

Есть камин , можно насладиться прекрасной атмосферой. Внутри нас ждал сюрприз много вкусняшек и видов кофе и чая. Отдых был сказочным. Дженифер невероятно приятная и отзывчивая.Планируем сюда вернуться опять.

Mounir and Luis were great Airbnb hosts! We really appreciated their communication and their care for their property. It was honestly one of the nicest and best places I’ve ever stayed! Serene view, beautiful home, nice and cozy! We got to have the best time with our friends!

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!

This is a great place for a peaceful getaway. Not too close to anything, if you want to go out for a bite to eat but you’ll have everything you need to stay in and cook a great meal in the comfort of this beautiful cottage! Beautiful views and comfortable decor!

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again!
