What a great experience to be hosted by this warm and loving family! So welcoming and open! We had great conversations in the evenings, there were celebrations and we were able to enjoy an authentic insight into the everyday life of this family. Vicky, his parents and relatives, the animals from the farm and the other guests at the accommodation all created a great homely atmosphere. Great and delicious food was cooked for us, they helped us to go on a wild and exciting tour through the jungle, we saw elegant rhions, bears, crocodiles, several birds and more. This accommodation was simply amazing. The people are incredibly aware, lovely and kind hosts. The price of the room is very generous in every way. We left Chitwan with full hearts - one thing is certain. My two friends and I have undoubtedly taken this family to our hearts. We hope to be able return very soon. We are so incredibly grateful to have met the family ❤️

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

Arjun’s place is very nice and quiet, a bit out Scott of Kathmandu in a fresh area area. It’s the best place for long term staying. The room has everything you need and there are important Buddhist sites in walking distance. Arjun and his family are so very hospitable. The microbus leaves for city center just 5 minutes walk from the house. I will keep going to stay with them in future too. Highly recommended Best wishes Dil

It was pleasure staying at Beganus lake, the traditional home made Napalease food were awesome especially the barbeque fish. Bishwo's restaurant and the property is just at the bank of the lake having plenty of greeneries around. Bishwo's and his spouse Versha were very hospitable and ensured putting all of us at ease and comfort. Even Versha found out time from her tight schedule and took us for a local sightseeing. We will definitely look forward again staying at their place if get a chance visiting Beganus lake. I rate my overall experience at their place is excellent.

Babin is an extremely hospitable host. I only stayed at his place for 1 night as a transit to Pokhara but Babin picked me up from the airport and gave a good room with all amenities to have a good night rest. I also got a good breakfast in the morning and he called a cab for me to get to the airport on time.

Raju is a hospitable, communicative, and attentive host. He took great care of me when I got sick and even invited us for an incredible home-cooked meal. The stay was an impeccable value, and everything matched the description perfectly. Highly recommended!

Bhawani's place is a peaceful cave. It's has a huge potential and very convenient location. I loved that the sheets and blankets are clean. Host is very responsive n always ready to help. Restaurant is next door with geest food. Pashupatinath is in walkable distance n grocery stores are around. I loved it.

We have had an amazing stay at Kathmandu Mega Appartement, which is perfectly located with many things to do nearby. Thakur was a great and thoughtful host, making us decide to add a few more nights here after traveling around Nepal.

Mahesh is professional, kind, and very resourceful, helping in any way he can to help you accomplish whatever you’d like to in Nepal.

Thank you so much Taleju Grand Team I enjoyed my stay. The room was so clean and comfortable, with a desk to finish work online and good internet. The location is in Durbar square with a nice rooftop and delicious breakfast provided. Just next door is The Muglan, that had daily lovely life music that ends at 9pm, that you can watch from the rooftop or go and enjoy a delicious meal and a good vibe. Special thanks to Suman who helped me book my bus to Chitwan, to the lovely reception lady, Punam who was always cheerful and supportive and the kitchen team for the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and I will come again while in Bhaktapur 🙏✨🌞

Amazing place- everything is outstanding: the view, the hospitality, Fatima's food, the vibe... it is really one of a kind. What a luxury in nowdays world to be able to disconnect from frenzy, immerse in such devine nature and be surrounded by a pristine environment. Highly recommended to the adventurers and to anyone in search of peace. it is a life changing experience !

This was a wonderful place and Uttam and his family were great hosts. Uttam is also a very experienced trekking guide so from the small hikes in the Dhulikhel area we did - we hope to come back and do a long trekking together with Uttam in the future. 🌸

We had an amazing time at Babu's and Belku's homestay. They welcomed us as part of their family from the first day, offering help and advice with any issues we encountered, organizing trekking (day and week-long), and taking us with them for local festivities. They had great internet, video calls worked very well. The rooms had great views across the mountains next door or the green hill sides of Kirtipur and were exceptionally clean. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing on one of the balconies or the big sun terrace. Before our trip we were hesitant whether staying with a local family would be too intense but we are so glad we decided to do so. You are free to move in the homestay as if it was your home, engaging with the family as much or as little as you want, but trust us you will look very much forward to participating in the family life, learning how to cook as amazingly as Belku does, learning Nepali with Babu, or just talking about everyday life with them. This is our second time in Nepal and only now we feel like we have experienced it for real. The deep insights into Nepali culture, cuisine, and daily life we got in this homestay you cannot get when staying in Thamel. You can visit Kathmandu with a short taxi ride but we were always glad to escape the busy city to the relaxing green rice fields of Kirtipur. It is not overstated to say our stay was a lifetime experience. We greatly recommend to stay with Babu, Belkin, and Aayush.

I stayed one month at the apartment. It is in a great location, remote from the main roads noise and dust. The room is very clean, it is exactly like in the pictures. The internet is fast, breakfast is great, it is a really nice place to stay if you visit Kathmandu, I would recommend it to anyone.

Sunita's homestay was just incredible. We had a really great time, good and lots of local food and warm blankets. Sunita and her son showed us around and we did day hikes to the surrounding villages. We really felt at home and didn't want to leave Maybe good to know: Either you have to take a jeep to Manang (around 7 hours and 30 dollars per person) or you plan to stay there during your Annapurna circuit. The village lies on 3500 m and I would bring enough cash and warm clothes. We took the jeep from beshi shahar and had incredible views. Also be ready to enjoy some days without wifi (they do have it but only in some places and it doesn't work so well). But honestly if you stay in such a location, you should enjoy the smartphone free days. In addition, you should be ready for a bucket-shower which also didn't bother us. It all contributed to an authentic local experience. Lastly, the prices are a bit more expensive in the village, if you eat lunch, so also be prepared for that.

We had such a blissful time at Milla Guesthouse - It was our first holiday together as a new family, with our 9 month old son, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The guesthouse is gorgeous, and our lovely room had everything we needed - we particularly enjoyed sitting up on the roof terrace and watching the sun set over the valley. I travel internationally a lot for work and this was the best guesthouse i have ever stayed at. My husband and I also loved chatting with Laxman dai and Sanu aunty, who were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and took so much care playing with our son. We really appreciated it! We can't wait to come back again.
