Located 1 mile from Needle Rock & 20 min. from The Black Canyon. Local wineries & farms within 30 minutes. Great hiking right from the property.

Retreat, recharge, and be inspired at Darla's Loft. 550+ sq. ft. indoor space, and gorgeous views of Needle Rock, West Elk Mts., and Grand Mesa from the 10x10 deck in back. 20 minutes from North Rim of Black Canyon National Park; 3 minutes from Crawford Lake State Park. King bed; futon for extra guest or children. Explore the beauty of Crawford Country during the day, relax on the deck and watch the sunset (and on a good day, the alpenglow on the mountains) then the stars (Dark Skies region).

Shop House

The Shop House is in one end of our shop in the barnyard on a cattle ranch. Inside you can unwind after a day of exploring, with everything you need to feel right at home. The huge deck is an ideal place for dining, sipping your morning coffee or simply enjoying the quiet of country living. You might see cattle and horses being worked or moved through the area. A glimpse into daily ranch life. Shop House offers a peaceful stay, big mountain views, and the timeless charm of ranch country.

Buckskin Getaway

Modern country home (entire lower level, 1200 sq. feet) with magnificent views of the West Elk Mountains. Excellent internet (fiber optic) that runs at about 145 mbps. The area is well known for dark skies and great star gazing. Unlimited outdoor activities, superb wine tasting at local vineyards and easy access to Telluride, Aspen and Crested Butte. Very private space in lower level with walkout patio. Spacious bedroom has one queen bed. Two twin beds are in the oversized common space.

Please note! We are in the mountains and a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended for winter travel. Welcome to beautiful Paonia and your cozy and peaceful cabin getaway. Just 3.5 miles from the town of Paonia means you're oh-so-close yet so far away from it all. Stillness, beauty, and relaxation. If you're looking for a little cozy reconnect with nature and a disconnect from the rat-race, you've found it. The Coyote Cabin is perfect home base for exploring the abundant North Fork Valley.

Unique Farm stay, Hang w/ Goats at Western Culture

Stay at Western Culture Farmstead & Creamery. Enjoy an intimate goating experience at a working goat farm & creamery. You will have an entire apartment with private entrance. It is a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath with partial kitchen. Includes a large covered patio with a grill and lovely views. Western Culture Farmstead is located 1 mile outside of Paonia, close enough to ride your bike. Enjoy some private time hanging out with the goats, they are very therapeutic & love a snuggle!

Elderberry's suite is a comfortable, cozy one-bedroom apartment attached to our classic 1908 farmhouse and located on a 4-acre herb farm, herbal education center in the unique creative town of Paonia. If you love nature, herbs, orchards or vineyards, you'll feel right at home here. Minnesota creek runs through the farm; we are right on the edge of town, adjacent to Juniper & Sage hills with views of beautiful snow-capped mountains . And ... we have decent fiber internet for Zooming!

Cottage at NeedleRock

Stylish charm with two sleeping options. Queen bed on main level of tiny cottage or a lofted sleeping space up a ships ladder, boasts a new Queen Nectar Mattress. Up the ladder sleeping loft is only for the fit and adventurous. Must be comfortable on your knees due to low headroom situation. Lovely park like setting with outside BBQ Grill. Kitchenette is pretty well outfitted. Tiny Cottage has charm and comforts. Groovy wooden beads across bathroom door so not a ton of privacy.

The Creekside Cabin

Welcome to Creekside Cabin, a cozy loft retreat where the sound of a creek lulls you to sleep. Relax on the porch with your morning tea and unwind beneath wood ceilings. Inside, you'll find a cozy sleeping loft, natural light, scenic views, and rustic wood finishes. Walking distance of downtown coffee shop, library, restaurant and bar. A mini-split heating and cooling system keeps the cabin comfortable year-round, making it the perfect basecamp for rest and Colorado adventure.

River Walk Yurt/sumptuous, hot tub, fast internet

Our Yurt is a perfect winter sojourn. Between the Rockies and the desert, only 2 miles from Paonia, is a luxury yurt placed on a large wrap-around redwood deck. Hovering above the North Fork of the Gunnison River, your private sanctuary is far removed from neighbors and intrusions. The Bus at Needle Rock

Come explore quiet Colorado country in our totally renovated school bus. My friend converted it to a "skoolie" in the 80’s and lived in it for years in the mountains. After moving it here to Crawford, we’ve been hard at work with a full remodel. It is still a rustic retreat, but it features running hot and cold water, electricity, and a composting toilet. You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this unique getaway, 30 minutes from the north rim of the Black Canyon.

Feast your eyes on this awesome and unobstructed view of the West Elks mountain range and Grand Mesa from our big front porch! The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with sleeper sofa, kitchen, dining area, and a second living area downstairs. Outside you’ll find a patio with fire pit where you can sit around a campfire and enjoy the incredible view of Needle Rock and surrounding mountains. We also offer an RV site with full hookup.
