Or, walk to the chain ferry and hike down to the beach. Explore Holland, just a 10 min drive north. Several wineries just outside of the city. We are conveniently located 10 miles from downtown Grand rapids, 5 miles from Grandvalley State university and 30 miles from the lake Michigan shoreline. There are many places to shop, restaurants, breweries, and parks within a 5- 15 minute drive. So close to town but it feels so remote. Come check out our farm store full of local goodness!

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.
