Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Luxurious and stylishly converted hideaway for two. This romantic retreat is set in a peaceful rural location, just a five minute walk from the centre of the village. The emperor bed, roll top cast iron bath, inglenook fireplace with cosy log burner and window seat provide the ingredients for a relaxing and memorable holiday. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Situated on a quiet lane yet just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Wedmore with its pubs, shops and restaurants, Rose Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Enjoy the West Country air in this recently renovated two bedroom cottage. Ideally located between Wells, Cheddar & Glastonbury, with lots of walking & cycling trails, there’s plenty to see and do in this tranquil spot. Or, take the time to unwind and make yourself at home indoors by the wood-burner and in the spacious outdoor seating area with views of a traditional Somerset orchard. Opportunity to meet our gorgeous pet sheep during your stay 🐑 Suitable for adults and older children

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.
