Welcome! We are Paul and Paula and have lived in Waipara over 30 years, you will be nestled down the back of our home on 1/2 acre property. A newly refurbished 2 bedroom cottage, quiet, roomy living area, outdoor patio, you can sit and enjoy the sun, or under the tree for shade. Surrounded by wineries, for brunch, lunch or coffee and taste some wonderful wines. Escape to a secluded cabin and wake to the roar of surf, birdsong, and breathtaking sunrises over the wild Pacific Ocean. Tucked amid native and exotic trees, with coastal views, this cosy cabin offers a true nature escape to slow down, pause, and restore. Sip a morning coffee on any of the three outdoor decks, stretch in the fresh coastal air, or unwind with a wine and BBQ under the stars beside the outdoor fireplace. Christchurch is 90mins but we prefer our 2 wild beaches, a short stroll away.

Coringa Farm Cottage HC BB hi

Coringa Farm Cottage is the home block of the original 7000 acre Coringa Station, Unique landscape surrounded by nature. Located 5 minutes from Motunau Seaside village, & 10 minutes from Greta Valley Pub & Cafe, Scargill Golf Club & Wedding Venue. This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Guests may explore farm on foot or mountain bike with permission. Welcome to Coringa.

THE BIRD'S NEST - Secluded getaway!

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This secluded hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. Some highlights include relaxing in our private hot tub watching the sun set, strolls along the banks of the Heathcote river, and afternoon gelato just around the corner. Our Wine Pod, a beautiful Tiny House, sits privately nestled on the Georges Road Winery & Vineyard, with panoramic views across the vines to the hills & alps beyond. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

2021 Motunau Holiday home - Sea views

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Modern and light, 2 year old holiday house. Beach vibes, warm and comfortable. Views and decking on north and south (sea) aspects. Walk down the track to the beach or hang at the river with kayaks. Safe, flat family friendly beach. Rock pools to explore, fossil hunting galore. Excellent fishing, diving and wildlife from and beyond the coast. Playground, tennis courts and petanque available. 20 mins to local wineries.

Olive Grove Cabin Waipara

Olive Grove Cabin is nestled in an olive grove in the Waipara valley, just 45 minutes north of Christchurch and 8 minutes north of Amberley. A peaceful and tranquil getaway from Christchurch or a stop along your travels around New Zealand. The cabin is located in the heart of the Waipara wine region, on the doorstep of the best of North Canterbury’s wineries, with easy access to Mt Grey, Mt Cass and Tiromoana walkways. The cabin is cosy and welcoming, the perfect retreat.

Our Lyttel Whare (house) is a brand new, architecturally designed tiny home, thoughtfully located and decorated to maximise stunning harbour and hill views and to reflect our funky Lyttelton vibe. With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $135 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Cosy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.
