The place was amazing, great location and the scenery was beautiful. Lorraine provided a great list of local amenities too which helped greatly. The apartment is walking distance from the Beatrix Potter attraction so that's well worth a visit including the cafe.

My wife, daughter, and I had a great time. The apartment was very well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and tidy. Spacious living room for playing games around the dining table or watching a movie while stretching out on the sofa. Just a short walk into the main town of Bowness-on-Windermere, up a slightly steep hill but we are in the Lakes for walking. We all found it very relaxing and we’d be happy to come again.

We had the best 4 days staying here. The flat has everything anyone could need and a beautiful balcony as an added bonus. The location couldn’t be better, it was easy to walk anywhere and just pop in an out to drop off shopping or get changed. The host was very friendly and helpful, as was Chris, the neighbour. We had good communication and they were very attentive and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!

Nick was very helpful at all times, very quick responding to any questions I had! Very easy to find, easy to get in and out of rooms with the instructions. The 2 separate rooms worked really well for us! Lovely stay and great location

Great location in the middle of Ulverston. Kitchen had everything we needed and when we needed to we pressed 'boost' on the heating controls and the house heated quickly. very cozy, homely house. Would recommend and stay again

Fabulous stay. We loved the house (which was accurately described). It was perfect for me and my family. We loved making breakfast and dinner in the huge kitchen. Would love to stay again when in the area.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Very clean property, within easy walking distance of the city centre (and our son’s student digs). On street parking found easily, loved the garden and sitting in the sun with a coffee. Very clear instructions from Phillip and loved the fact we could bring our small dog. Would definitely like to stay again.

We have no complaints at all, spotlessly clean, and modern, fully equipped and felt at home straight away. Mark was very helpful and the place is to a very high decorative standard even with a soft close toilet. Would love to stay again, great local pub within a 100 meters with fantastic food. Lovely walks around the area, Zara (our dog) loved it.

Loved our stay at this house. Pictures don't do it justice with the house much bigger than it looks. Very accessible location with only a 5 minute walk to the front of Lytham and it's beautiful windmill. 10 minute walk from the house will also take you right into the main street in the town where there are loads of cafes, pubs and shops. Helen was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved every minute of our Easter break.

This little cottage was perfect for me and my partners trip to the lakes. The listing accurately represents the property. Inside was very clean and it came with everything you would need for a trip away. Couldn’t recommend more.

Family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids) just got back from 2 nights at Tom's simply stunning apartment. The photos don't quite do it justice for it's size with fantastic views, luxury touches & sun terrace with views of the front/sea. Tom was fantastic throughout our stay, arranged our luggage to be able to get dropped at Briggs early & messaged to give us a well received late check out!! We spent our time visiting the lake district, morcambe sea front & happy mount park. We ate in the cafe downstairs (Ritas) the market & ordered takeaways in the evening sitting around the well appointed dining table/island. Evenings spent relaxing on the HUGE comfortable sofas watch a movie on the HUGE tv. Have to say: the beds were so comfortable, the apartment so quiet in the evening we had the best night's sleep. Thankyou Tom & Tina .... your Airbnb in stunning & we will definitely return in the future.

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! The cozy love nest was great. We really enjoyed our time using the outdoor cinema and jacuzzi, it was the perfect setting for a romantic evening. The hosts friendly cat Tiger, who greeted us every time we returned from the city, was a delightful added bonus. They really made us feel at home, and I would highly recommend this spot.

The apartment is beautifully appointed, clean and spacious. The location was peaceful, close to the centre of Bowness. It was perfect for what I was looking for with my family.

Great location shops bars and restaurants easy to walk to great variety, good for golf courses nearby. Kenny was on hand to pass on recommendations very helpful

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Nic was a great host, very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and tidy, there was a welcome pack which we were most grateful for. The apartment was a short walk from the Wintergardens and only a 10 minute walk from the sea front. Will be staying again next year
