Great accommodations for group trips. There are a number of in home activities; games, karaoke, hot tub, etc readily available. Proximity to Massanutten slopes was the selling point for our group of beginner skiers NOT interested in ski in/ski out options.

An absolute gem of a place - modern comforts nestled away in a completely private setting. Close enough to towns for eats if you want and super close to Shenandoah NP for exploring/hikes yet far enough away from everyone to see the stars at night the way they should be seen. The cottage was super clean and very well set up offering everything you’d need to have a great rainy day if needed indoors. Will come back for sure as we missed a few trails and wineries. Must see the Grand Caverns and visit Lil’ Gus for a burger just a short ride South. We were very fortunate and stayed during the Elkton Spring Festival in town for small town carnival fun without the city shenanigans we get at home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Even though we got in late, around 9:30pm, Eunice still came out to greet us upon arrival which immediately made us feel right at home. There were bagels and fresh baked cookies among other snacks like fresh fruit that were provided. The bagels made for the perfect grab and go breakfast each morning before heading to Shenandoah. After a long morning of hiking one day, we came back to relax for a bit and Eunice brought us both a fresh donut they had just made which was amazing. The cottage was so peaceful and clean. We were lucky enough for it to rain one night which was relaxing to listen to come down after a long day exploring in the park. The cottage was so quiet we could hear the clock ticking which was just what we needed the first night from a long drive in after work. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, we highly recommend Steven and Eunice’s place.

Patty's place was very special for me becuase of the beautiful hills and woodlands. It is spring in all of it's glory, so given that, I did not mind the drive form 81 . If your someone who prefers to be closer to the highway this was a 30 minute drive. But, I drive slowly and was admiring the landscape. The full kitchen would be welcome for someone staying a week. It has everything you would need. The shower had Hot water . The mattress is not as firm as I would like but then I sleep on a very firm mattress at home. Patty is friendly and responsive to all my texts and email. Meg

Absolutely beautiful stay! The cottage is nestled on a peaceful farm with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains—truly a serene and calming retreat. The host was incredibly responsive and kind—she even brought tea to my doorstep, which made the experience feel extra special. A perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Libby is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We added another night and I'm glad we did! The property was well-kept and beautiful. It had everything you would need and more. Would definitely come back :)

This was a special grandma & grandson trip designed to make my 10-year old feel special and make lifetime memories. LaVaun and James have prepared a lovely space that delivers peace and quiet, and a sense of being at home. The Springhouse is well equipped and quite comfortable. We were welcomed upon arrival by James and Blue, a sweet and friendly farm dog. We soon met LaVaun and were invited to share the backyard and enjoy watching the sheep and cows. This was the perfect "basecamp" for us to explore Luray Caverns, attractions in Harrisonburg, and Dinosaur Land. Our favorite things about the Springhouse were waking up to the sheep grazing right outside our windows while eating breakfast and daily escorts by Blue. The Springhouse may be one of my most favorite rentals and I would definitely consider a return trip here. "Thank you" to the Janney family for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was so wonderful. The location and cabin was perfect for us. We were so relaxed and enjoyed every bit of Shenandoah. Thank you both!!! I highly recommend for a getaway!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this retreat in the woods. The bed was so comfy and everything was extremely clean. Fully stocked kitchen and bath. They even provided a cooler for our use! And the sauna was perfect after a day of hiking. The check out was super simple and much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.
