Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Enjoy a cozy experience at this centrally, located place. Literally, a 1-4 minute walk to Mercy Hospital(formerly Southeast Hospital), less than 1 mile to Southeast University Campus, along with downtown(river). A street over is Broadway with many restaurants. Walmart Market and Dollar General are also conveniently located nearby. The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking utensils, clean towels, pots and pans for those who prefer eating in. Please no animals and no smoking in the apartment.

Hutchins Creek Cabin -2br- Wine Trail & Wilderness

Hutchins Creek Cabin is located along spring-fed Hutchins Creek, surrounded by Shawnee National Forest Wilderness Areas, and at the south edge of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The cabin was our home for 8 years, we still visit regularly, and love sharing this special place w/ others. Featuring an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it can comfortably sleep 4-6 adults. There are multiple outdoor spaces including a fire pit, decks, and a screened-in porch.
