Gillys, 2 bedroom guesthouse

Gillys is a modern 2 bedroom stand alone guesthouse situated in a quiet street. The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. Enjoy the peaceful aspect, gaze at the stars at night and listen to the distant waves crashing on the Ninety mile beach. Metung village is only a short 8 minute drive away for your closest supplies. There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Sunnyside 1, Is One of Two Cheery Beach side Terraces located in the Centre of town, We are located only 300 meters from the footbridge, and only a few minutes walk to Amazing Restaurant’s , Cafes, Mini Golf and all Lakes has to offer, We have off road parking, and we are directly opposite the bus stop. With a new kitchen and bathroom, eclectic decor and private outside entertaining area including a fire pit, and outdoor shower, you will have everything you need for a great getaway.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Marlo is a gorgeous seaside town where the Snowy River meets the ocean - 10minutes from Orbost. It has the infamous Marlo pub ( a short walk from my place) for that country pub meal and watching the sunsets over the estuary, great fishing and kayaking with beautiful beaches. A great little cafe in walking distance and the local store. My place is a 5minute walk to the estuary and seaside walks with beautiful panoramic views of the ocean, estuary and the entrance.

Lakes Entrance waterfront cottage

Set on the beautiful Gippsland lakes, this newly renovated cottage has everything you need for a luxurious and comfortable trip away. The cottage is located in Marine Parade behind an art gallery, everything is in walking distance, with space to park your car and boats. (A mooring on the adjacent jetty is available for additional fee). Across the road from the property is the beautiful Gippsland lake, ready for you to put the boat in and explore.

Kings View, Kings Cove, Metung

As evidenced by the feature photo, the house offers sweeping views of Lake King and the Boole Poole Peninsula. This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. Construction of Stage 1, a glamping and hot pools offer, is now open. Book on the MHS website to secure your relaxing hot pools experience.

“Dee’s Cottage” Fully renovated country cottage

“Dee” is an original fisherman’s cottage from Paynesville which has been fully renovated and modernised into a self contained studio style space, while retaining some of the original charm. The cottage is located on a small acerage property on the doorstep of the Gippsland Lakes and a short drive to the mountains. “Dee” is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway.

Our beautiful B&B is only 30m from the waters edge, set in quite private bush space. It is close to the ferry to take you to all the services Paynesville has to offer. Relax on the beach , swim, bushwalking , bike riding or kayaking. Abundance of wild life on doorstep.
