The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and has all the amenities of home! Relax on the deck, take the kayaks for a spin, enjoy a fire indoors or out, or ride our bikes. Play games late into the night. Our Little House in Door County

Welcome to StoneWood Cottage, nestled in Little Sturgeon, just 6 miles south of Sturgeon Bay, WI. Nearby, a boat launch for both fishing and those looking to enjoy the bay. A short trip to Green Bay and neighboring towns. For our guests, we offer air conditioning, WIFI, a patio area for socializing, and even a spot for your camping companion (details available upon request). Our fully inclusive suite is very spacious with its own kitchen, private bath and laundry room, fully renovated in 2025! You will be staying in the historic parlor of our 1869 building, offering all the modern amenities in a historic setting. The decor is contemporary and comfortable, with two Queen sized beds, an additional fold out couch, desk&table to spread out comfortably. Located in downtown, across from Fincantieri Bay Ship, a minute walk away from bars and restaurants.

Our cottage is situated on the “quiet side” of Door County on the meandering Glidden drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The cottage is perched upon a small hill and surrounded by pine trees in a relaxed country setting. Guests have dedicated access to Lake Michigan right across the street. The sand beach provides for an excellent location for kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, and walks. Glidden Cottage is only five miles from Sturgeon Bay.
