Surrounded by nature, HOUSE POADA is located in a panoramic position at about 400 metres above sea level, in the territory of Mandello del Lario, a charming town on Lake Como, on the bank of the Lecco branch. It offers stunning views of our beautiful lake and loved “Grigne”. It provides a peaceful heaven for those who love nature and tranquillity: you can choose between a wide selection of experiences for relaxation, sport, culture, food and adventure in a unique scenario. The house is located directly on the "Sentiero del Viandante" (Path of the Wanderer), an ancient passageway that used to connect Milan to Switzerland. Nowadays, the trail climbs from Abbadia Lariana , to then enter to the foot of the Valtellina. It has a total length of about 45 km and therefore it has to be organized in stages; depending on the level of training, the course is divided up into 3 or 4 stages. Due to the frequent intersections with the railway line Lecco-Colico, you can complete one stage at time, returning by train to the starting point. The modest height and the excellent exposure of the path make the route crossable in every season. Moreover, you can find many other hiking trails all over the place. The residence is easily accessible by car, going through 500 meters of private road surrounded by greenery, starting from Somana, a picturesque hamlet of Mandello del Lario. Here you will find a welcoming home, hospitality, love for nature, history and traditions of our land, the passion for sports and mountains, as well as the desire to socialize with new people. The farm, recently renovated, is mainly dedicated to the production of oil, thanks to the hundreds of olive trees planted here. They are ideally located on the slopes of the hills: the climate and the favourable nature of the soil allow us to produce high-quality oil appreciated in Italy and abroad. Near the main house you will also find our friendly Tibetan goats, and some sheeps

La Casetta

Piccolo appartamento su due piani, con zona giorno e cucina al piano terra, camera da letto e bagno al piano superiore. Piccolo spazio esterno. Situata nella frazione di Rongio, a due passi dal sentiero del Viandante e dai principali percorsi escursionistici e a cinque minuti di distanza in macchina dal lago e dal centro di Mandello, dove si possono trovare i servizi essenziali. Ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare il lago di Como e la città di Milano e per escursioni nella provincia di Lecco.

Ampio monolocale con bagno annesso al cortile di una delle dimore storiche più caratteristiche di Mandello del Lario. Vi troverete direttamente sul “sentiero del viandante” che costeggia il lago di Como. Posto auto riservato. Il cortile di circa 100 metri quadri a completa disposizione degli ospiti ha una vasca idromassaggio (apertura 15/3 - 30/10). La casa è stata riqualificata a livello energetico e offre anche una colonnina per la ricarica elettrica delle auto nel giardino di proprietà
