The house is very beautiful, we loved the place very much, clean and tidy, . Carlos very help full We enjoyed it for a whole week, the beautiful view of the valley , the wonderful mountain views I recommend it for a quiet holiday and relaxing, we enjoyed the charming nature surrounding the place , the pool was greet.

Vi havde en skøn og afslappende uge. Huset var skønt og det var hvad vi skulle bruge. Porten ville ikke åbne en dag vi skulle på tur. Vi kontaktede solymar Holidays, og vi fik hjælp i løbet af 20 min. De bedste anbefalinger herfra.

Ein gutes Haus auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Vom Dorf aus erreicht man in 20 Minuten Cordoba; Sevilla, Granada usw. sind ungefähr alle gleich weit weg (knapp 2 Stunden). Das Haus ist gemütlich, besonders für eine größere Gruppe, mehrere Aufenthaltsräume. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und aufgefüllt und Enrique war sehr nett und bereit auf individuelle Wünsche mehr Handtücher, versetzte Abreise) einzugehen.

Lourdes place was amazing! And she and Emilio are amazing hosts ! Very kind and welcoming! They even offered me local wine and cheese ! The proximity of the Torcal de Antequeras is perfect. The location perfect. I ll be back

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

Very nice place to have a good time. l Lots of space and privacy, all clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered us a lot of flexibility with check-in and checkout. Can recommend the place and would come back.

increíble hospedaje, muy tranquilo, vecinos muy agradables, un castillo precioso, la zona residencial maravillosa, la casa estupenda y las vistas inigualables!! absolutamente con todos los servicios, todo lo necesario en cocina y hasta más! la comunicación fue increíble, siempre estuvo pendiente y las indicaciones también fueron muy precisas. nos encontramos muy agradecidos por absolutamente todo.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour à La Garrida. La maison est très jolie (beaucoup plus que ce que suggère les photos). C"est une maison très grande et agréable, tout est bien pensé et la cuisine est bien équipée (ce qui est appréciable!). Il y a des petits plus intéressants : salle de bains pour chaque chambre, piscine avec jeux de lumières colorés (très joli le soir!) , lampions colorés à suspendre au dessus de votre table pour manger dehors le soir devant la piscine, très belle terrasse où nous avons pris plaisir tout les matins à prendre nos petits déjeuners. Le WIFI intérieur et extérieur a été grandement apprécier par tout le monde!! Les petits points négatifs: chemin d'accès en terre et gravillons (poussière), obligation de Miguel de venir tous les 2/3 jours pour arroser les plantes (beau temps oblige!). Miguel est un hôte très agréable et toujours disponible, un grand merci pour son accueil !! Le fait qu'il parle un peu français est un plus !!!

We had a fantastic week at Rafael’s place. The villa more than met our expectations. We had a family group of 16 and the three separate villas meant that everyone had their own space. The pool was clean and the kids really enjoyed the variety of sports and activities available. Rafael was really helpful and always quick to communicate. We would happily recommend the villa to friends and family and would love to come back in the future. Thanks!

We arrived at the property after meeting Mayte and her family in the town and were taken aback by the warmness of our welcome and the amazing scenery around the property. It was amazingly clean and even the kitchen was well equipped (the 1920’s style champagne glasses were a particular favourite!), all the rooms were incredibly comfortable and the pictures really didn’t do the property justice. Real highs were the salt water pool which was amazing and didn’t impact my little girls hair anywhere as much as a normal pool (she’s three and didn’t really get out of the pool to do anything other than eat or sleep) and the outside cooking areas which is to die for. I terms of location, there’s great access to El Chorro and the lakes around the area and all the typical local amnesties you expect in a small Spanish town. If you need a bigger super market the one in Álora is only 25 minutes away and has an awesome fish selection and a wider selection of produce. We had one small problem over the stay in that we ran out of gas for the boiler and I (not being to practical) struggled to change the bottle and relight it but after messaging Mayte someone can and sorted out the issue in less than 45 minutes from my first message. I think this goes to show Mayte and her family’s commitment to their guests and I was really impressed by how responsive they were. Overall, we were super happy with our stay and intend to visit again!

Un trato excepcional, tanto Carmen como Antonio nos atendieron en seguida y nos facilitaron mucho tanto el check in como el check out. Sin duda un lugar inmejorable para ir con amigos o familia

Preciosa casa en la Sierra de Malaga. La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotografías . Salón amplio y con la chimenea se estaba muy calentito. La cocina igualmente amplia y con todo tipo de utensilios. Las camas. Muy cómodas , los baños igual . Fuera tienen dos bbq portátiles y las vistas son ESPECTACULARES .La casa al llegar muy limpia en general. Pero lo mejor de todo fue Maria , muy atenta con nosotros en todo. Nos puso la casa calentita al llegar nosotros por la tarde a las 20:00 que íbamos con mi hija de 2 años . No indicó sitios donde comer y comprar carne para barbacoa, supermercados grandes , etc . Siempre estaba atenta al teléfono para cualquier duda . En definitiva la mejor casa rural que ido hasta ahora … y he ido a muchas . Volvería sin lugar a dudas .

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

Estancia muy acogedora. En plena naturaleza para desconectar de todo. Cerca de Antequera y con un entorno espectacular. Antonio, el anfitrión, encantador y muy atento. La casa muy limpia y con todas las comodidades. Hemos echado un fin de semana muy bueno. Totalmente recomendable. Volveremos.

The Descansito del Rey is a nice and cozy home with great cooking opportunities for a larger group of people. We spent a fabulous climbing holiday there. Just a few minutes away from El Chorro station and the small supermarket, the location is practical for grocery shopping on foot or going on daytrips by train. Francisco was warm and friendly and extremly quick to help us out in person when there were municipal water outages due to natural disaster. Thanks a ton <3 I definitely recommend the house and the host and would love to stay at the Descansito again!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 15 jours chez Miguel avec notre famille de 4 enfants et 5 adultes. Le logement à été au delà de nos espérances. La vue 360° disponible via les différents spots que propose la maison est magnifique et reposante. Les parents et enfants ont pu respectivement profiter des levers et couchers de soleil et lune durant les repas et des "pool parties". Miguel a été un hôte très réactif ! Prévoir une bonne voiture type petit suv pour l'acces à la masion dans les montagnes/collines (pas de fiat 500...). Nous recommandons le logement ! Mille mercis encore Miguel !

Ana nos apoyo en todo momento, fue por nosotros por que teníamos un problema con nuestro GPS pero ella nos apoyo en todo momento.. Adicional a esto, durante nuestra estancia se presento un problema con la lavadora y Ana nos apoyo dando solución en el momento... Muchas gracias Ana, esperamos volver algún día...

todo perfecto repetiremos sin duda casa muy acogedora y bonita con todo lo necesario de enseres de cocina y todo zona muy tranquila ideal para pasar unos días y desconectar de el mundo ay wifi en toda la casa la anfitriona Eva muy amable en todo momento y todo muy bien explicado y atenta a cualquier cosa que necesitamos lugar recomendado sin duda alguna

La estancia ha sido muy agradable, en la casa habia todo lo necesario, el patio espectacular con unas vistas preciosas y mucha intimidad, la piscina grande y limpia y marc siempre estaba dispuesto a venir a mantenerla. Tanto marc como isabel son personas muy agradables, tienen un huertillo al lado del que nos dieron a probar sus tomates y pepinos, muy sabrosos. Al perrete le tuvimos que acordonar la zona del huerto para que no pasara, por que queria ir a inspeccionar, pero se porto muy bien y marc le trajo unos regalos de despedida: un hueso y una pelota 😊. Desde luego la experiencia es para repetir, gracias x todo marc e isabel!!

Rafael et sa femme sont tres acceuillant souriant , toujours a disposition si besoin .ce séjour était magnifique ! mieux que sur les photos ont s'attendaient à ce que sa soi jolie mais nous sommes rester bouche bée face au logement au calme à la magnifique vue qui s'offraient à nous . aucun regret sur le lieu aucun regret sur le prix . tous était parfait ! merci encore à ses hôtes.

La estancia en casa de Gloria ha sido magnífica. Es el segundo año que nos alojamos allí. Todo está limpio y ordenado y la casa está muy completa. El entorno es muy bonito. Gloria y su hija han sido muy amables y han estado atentas a todas nuestras necesidades. Seguro que repetimos.

We had a wonderful time in Bev's accommodation - the pool was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures and we had a marvellous view of the mountains. There was also a brand new barbecue which we were allowed to use for cosy barbecue evenings. The flat was very clean inside and out. Bev was a great host, she even provided us with food on our arrival and recommended lots of great local sights and events. We would love to come back!
