Views out to the Farne Islands where you can see countless sea birds - or stay put and watch the wildlife from the apartment. Skylark Seaview Studio

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Well House hayloft

A lovely 17th century building, one of the oldest properties in Belford, that has a coffee shop below. In a friendly village only 5 miles from picturesque Bamburgh. Belford has pubs, restaurants, play parks, shops, chemist etc Very central for all attractions in Northumberland only half hour and you’re in Scotland. Near the coast with all its castles and beaches, and only 12 miles from Holy Island. Alnwick is only 14 miles away with the amazing castle and Gardens, also Barter Books.

The Annex in Belford tiny place with a big heart

The Annex is a 260yr old listed building originally a tiny hay barn, recently renovated to a high standard that provides our guests with a comfortable stay with light breakfast included and is perfect for that well deserved break. Please note this is adults only. Because of size of Annex. WE CANT ACCEPT LARGE DOGS. unfortunately there isn’t enough room. But we love seeing all the different dogs who come on their holidays happily enjoying themselves in the very safe fenced courtyard.

The Sanctuary. Sleeps 1 or 2 self catering.

The Sanctuary, is a secluded self catering cabin set in a private walled garden, ideal for anyone who wants to get away and retreat for a while. There is a private access to the cabin through the garden gate. The garden is shared with the owners and 3 friendly dogs. The cabin is fitted out for use of one person or two people sharing (a single or twin). It has an on-suite shower and toilet, and a kitchenette fully equipped. The cabin has emergency lighting and USB charging points.

Wildhope View, Bilton, nr Alnmouth

Wildhope View: A detached, characterful, stone cottage - especially for two. Located in the historic hamlet of Bilton, a stone’s throw away from the vibrant village of Alnmouth. A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

Beechcroft cottage, Bamburgh, Northumberland

A modern, stylish and freshly renovated open plan cottage in Budle Bay. We have just finished renovating every single aspect of Beechcroft, which used to be an old storage garage. The result is a modern but cosy cottage that provides everything you need for a relaxing stay in the heart of the Northumberland Coast, with a private garden including a hot tub and a toasty wood burner. If, like us, you enjoy countryside and coast then Charlie's Place could be the perfect place for you. Our pretty, traditional Northumberland cottage is in the historic village of Belford. The Northumberland Way is on our doorstep and beaches and castles galore are only a few minutes drive away.
