The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. The Rustic Bear Cabin is located in Crystal River on 1.16 acre, surrounded by woods & close to the Springs. Very cozy and relaxing. Drink your coffee on the porch, listen to the birds, hang out in the hammock or by the firepit, spy on deers, play with our rustic barrel arcade game, some pingpong, cornhole or dartboard. Take a drive to: - Three sister spring (closed until 11/23) - Hunter’s spring - Rainbow Spring - Weeki Wachi Spring - The Devil Den - The beach (30min) - Boat ramp (4min away)

“Divers Inn” on The Rainbow River

Located in Rio Vista which has it’s own private gated 3 acre park on the Rainbow River! The park has bathrooms, pavilions, grills and a boat ramp - so BRING YOUR BOAT! Relax riverside at the private park where you can fish and swim. Park is five minute walk (2 blocks) from the home. Free for guest use are kayaks and paddle boards. They can be transported with the golf cart which has a hitch and kayak trailer. If your vehicle has a hitch you may to use it for other area destinations.

A fold out sleeper couch takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.

The kitchen offers a compact fridge/freezer, stove/oven with utensils. Including a Keurig and coffee. The bedroom has a queen size bed and small closet. AC/Heat mini split is located in the bedroom. Wi-Fi. Gated access onto the farm.
