Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

From the entrance, Mariners looks like a charming little beach bungalow. But, step through the doors into two spacious floors of complete calm and serenity. A cosy log cabin situated in a small hamlet on the Lizard peninsula, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, full of secluded coves, beaches & woodlands to explore, all only 5 minutes from the tranquil Helford passage. 10 to 15 minutes from the historic town of Helston. A minutes walking distance from a traditional Cornish pub, with great food, and a welcoming log fire and beer garden.
