The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

We had a great stay and left feeling fully recharged, to complete our mountain bike trip on the Mary Towneley Loop. Pete is a helpful and kind host and we enjoyed his walkable suggestions for an evening meal and breakfast. We rehydrated well with the tea & coffee supplies, had a good shower, and slept well. It's a comfy big bed, in a large airy room that is quiet and clean. Excellent value and happy to recommend.

This is a brilliant location for all major attractions. You cannot fault the cleanliness that Freddie provides and he is very helpful and accommodating. He made the effort to ensure we were all on the same floor (our party was 8 adults and 7 kids) which we appreciated. It ain’t The Ritz, but it doesn’t set out to be

Carol and Lawrie were lovely hosts. The room was spotless, the bed was so comfy and they accommodated our early breakfast without hesitation. My daughter is a Vegan and they even sorted her out. Lawrie was super kind in the evening while we were playing pool. Value for money was outstanding. Would not hesitate to stay here again when in Blackpool. Thanks for everything. Fay, Alex and Elle x

We had a lovely night’s stay. The location is perfect for Kirkby Lonsdale, especially useful given the town itself is very short on parking. It’s a 5-10 minute walk into the centre which is ideal. Fiona provided a long list of recommendations for our stay and communicated promptly throughout. Our room was large and very well furnished. The bathroom was big and the shower excellent. The free ginger cake was great! Breakfast was lovely and so much of it - we had a Full English but fruit, yogurts, cereal and toast were also included. The price for the room was also very competitive. Why pay more for a hotel when this place has everything you could possibly need?

Very cosy accmodation. The room is clean and lovely just as same as the photos on the app. Surprisingly, light meals such as bread, oats and cereals, pancakes, milk, yorgult etc are always available at the bright cosy breakfast room at GF! We really loved it.

Pat and her partner were so lovely and kind. They were very welcoming and we felt safe and secure staying in their house.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, with an old-school character. Very old building with brilliantly authentic interior, which keeps its own long history and secrets😉. It's a Lancashire hidden (or not so hiden) gem. Literally everything, from the Hosts welcoming attitude to the way the rooms and the entire house are presented, makes you feel yourself like in a hide away from modern cyber age back to victorian and even renaissance times. Thanks a lot for everything, Kevin and Maria! Hope to stay at The Homestead again this year.

our second stay with Wendy and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, very close to where we like to be , and Wendy is an amazing host! Room is lovely and clean, a little home from home after a day walking non stop ! will be back 🥰

We stayed in the Forge which is a lovely stone annexe to the main house, luxuriously appointed and very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter at Edge Hill uni and this was the perfect base. Janet was also very helpful in helping us get various things sorted out for our daughter, going way beyond to assist. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of tasty, wholesome options. We will stay here again, and look forward to our next visit.

The place is just wow! Spotless big room, a modern bathroom and a pristine kitchen. Like a showroom house. Tracy and her husband are frendly and welcoming. One of my best bookings so far. Will come back again for sure.
