Very relaxing location, and cozy house

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Everything was as listed. Nice and clean. Modern furniture, fixtures, and tile. Made me feel at home but in the country. Would stay here if I could every time we visit.

We had a great time at this lake house. The double-layer dock is amazing and it is in a very beautiful and peaceful location. The home was very comfortable for our group of 8. Christy is a great host who offered excellent communication and was very friendly and helpful.

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

We needed a large place close to family for a memorial service & this place was 4 minutes away from other family. It had enough room for us all. There was plenty of parking for all of our cars & plenty of beds! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the counter space in the large kitchen. We were making Easter dinner & cooking for a large group which was difficult with no counter space. A large rolling island would be great in that space. However, we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck. The kids played the games & enjoyed both large TV’s. There was plenty of dining space with the 2 tables inside & 1 outside. We gathered for a sad occasion but still made good memories with our family in this home.

Tracie’s place was absolutely spotless, updated, and so peaceful. We would live here full time if we could! We LOVED the fence in yard for our dogs and the screened in back porch. The hot tub & lake were so fun too. We hope to come back to catch a Clemson football game in the fall.

Marissa and Manny were excellent hosts and the property was exactly what we were looking for. They responded immediately any time we had a question or needed something. The inlet was beautiful and the neighbors friendly. Our extended stay was so accommodating we can't wait to come back. Everything you could ever need was minutes away. The house was so cute and very well stocked and had the most comfortable beds. My wife and I highly recommend this rental.

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

This lake house was so accommodating to our group. We celebrated three birthdays during our stay and the house had everything we needed. From easy checkin/checkout, comfortable living and bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, working grill and the boat rental option was amazing! It was a wonder way to celebrate. The host was very responsive with any questions I had and she gave great recommendations for restaurants near by. I highly recommended this home to anyone. 10-star!!!

Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

This house is a great place for a family gathering. We had 14 people and plenty of space. We were here at Christmas and it is very quiet at the lake that time of year. Since we were planning mainly to stay in and visit, we were happy but it is worth noting that there is not a lot to do in the area other than activities on the lake. For planning purposes, it takes about 20 minute to get to the grocery.

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

We only spent three night, but wish it would have been for more! It was such a peaceful three days! While my husband was out riding his motorcycle during the day, my daughter and I spent all of our time in one of the multiple sitting areas just listening and enjoying the beautiful nearby creeks. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings and evenings! Really great experience, will likely be back again!

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

Perfect getaway for Thanksgiving with the family. The views, the lake, and the amenities were perfect and fit the descriptions listed. Andrew was an awesome host, very responsive and proactive. Highly recommend!

Brandon and Julie's home is the perfect combination of spaciousness and coziness! The four bedrooms were perfectly appointed for our family of 6 adults. There are ample living areas to spread out, whether watching tv in the living room, playing games in the sunroom, or enjoying the tranquil lake view on the large front porch. The kitchen area is large and spacious with a round table with seating for four allowing for quick meals or socializing with whomever is cooking. Brandon and Julie were very easy to communicate with and great hosts. We highly recommend staying at Brandon and Julie's home, which is very central to many attractions in northern Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and very well maintained. There was plenty of parking and things to do at the house! Crystal made the process easy and was very attentive. We will definitely book again if we’re ever back in the area. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!
