Welcome and enjoy our picturesque cabin nestled in the beautiful meadows of the two highest peaks in Colorado! Where you can hike the highest 14ers! Fish the gold medal water, that are only 100' away. You're just minutes from Turquoise and Twin Lakes, where you can fish, boat, or enjoy all the water sporting activities the lakes have to offer. If you're a hunter, you're in the prime location. Skiing!!! But if you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, you couldn't have picked a better place!

Grandpa's House

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

2 blocks from downtown restaurants, shops, and the Leadville Race Series starting lines, this 1880's 2 bedroom 1 bath mining cabin sleeps six and offers historic charm and a gorgeous views of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive! Under 30 minutes to Ski Cooper or Copper Mountain and hundreds of miles of trails to hike, bike or run just out the door. It's ideally located off the famous 11 mile Mineral Belt trail, surrounded by 14,000 ft peaks and a 10 minute walk into historic downtown. My family host's Phil's locally and call Leadville home and available to help with adventuring needs. This is a stand-alone carriage house with stair access to the unit.
