Lake Arthur: aluguel por temporada de chalés

My wife and I stayed at Alison's in late April 2025. We were in Lisbon for a bicycle ride. The house was just a short drive from Lisbon where there were several great restaurants. Pondi's, Nourish, and Cantina 70 all had great food and service. We relaxed at the house and loved sitting in the hot-tub that overlooked a gorgeous field in the valley below. We were treated to panoramic sunrises and sunsets. The location is very private, and even though there were neighbors, they were not close and we never heard a peep. This was the perfect place to relax and spend a few days and we would gladly stay again.

Beautiful setting in a very private location. We really enjoyed the peaceful long weekend with family. The house and land beautifully maintained and the view of the lake was spectacular. The grandkids really enjoyed fishing in the lake and watching the wildlife. So much for the price! Definitely recommend this rental if you’re visiting the area!

We just needed a few days away from reality and Tracey's place didn't disappoint!! It was peaceful. We loved the firepit outside and enjoyed many meals there. We took many walks to the creek and waterfall. The game garage was fun for the kids as well as adults. Was just what my family needed! Thanks Tracey!

My family and I were so pleased with our stay. It was clean and private and just as described. The beds were comfortable. Gwendolyn was super responsive and friendly. The location was wonderful. The kids enjoyed exploring the surroundings. We loved it so much that we booked it again for the summer and are already looking forward to our return.

Truly a real gem of a find in the Cook Forest, Clear Creek area! Wow!!! Extremely clean, very comfortable and spacious, very nicely decorated. Great yard and beautiful surroundings. Host directions were spot on. Simple, quick and efficient check in. Host was also very responsive. Would be a super great place for family with children due to privacy, distance from traffic, super cool play set, layout of cabin/house. Washer and dryer is great luxury but we didn’t need it. Would easily accommodate 6 people with lots of elbow room. Roomy fridge! Family’s, couples, or really anyone would be so happy with this. Thank you Rebecca! Ps: loved the little “extras”…. Keurig cups, soaps, detergent, etc…. Even found toothpicks👍

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was a perfect place to stay for our family. The cabin is a beautiful and tranquil place to spend. Overlooking the horses and fountains are such a wonderful sight. Richard was a gem of a host and extremely helpful.

We showed up and the place was clean and smelled good. Molly even left us home baked cookies which I gobbled up immediately. The beds are super comfortable and the river being right next to the cabin, I slept with the windows open and slept amazingly!

I grew up in the area so it was wonderful to connect w Shirley before making the reservation. We knew a lot of the same people so it was like talking to a neighbor. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by the two barn cats and then Shirley and her husband pulled up to greet us as well. It was fun to reminisce and catch up on some names from the community. The place is super clean and I slept well both nights. Water pressure was very good and hot water was plentiful. The property is located in a local side road with beautiful views and fresh clean air with the sounds of nature surrounding. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Stony Brook Cottage is so cozy and comfortable, we felt at home immediately. It was perfect for our get-away weekend. Everything is new, updated and high quality. We loved the earth-tone decor. The setting is very quiet and peaceful. Outside, you can hear Slippery Rock Creek rushing below. Great hiking is nearby in beautiful McConnells Mill State Park. Jason was an absolute pleasure to deal with, responsive, clear, and friendly.

Travis's cabin was awesome! Super chill vibe and the views are amazing. The place was really clean and had everything we needed. Travis was a great host—super responsive and gave us some cool tips for the area. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Definitely recommend!

This cozy little cabin was absolutely PERFECT for our little get-away night! This cute cabin has so much character, from the balconies inside AND outside, gorgeous fireplace, live edge countertops, small little loft with fairy lights and the living room even had a zebra!! The cabin was so peaceful and the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. We didn’t even have to leave the cabin, it had everything we needed! They also had a ping pong table, foosball table and pool table! The best part was having a peaceful quiet place to unwind at the end of the night and sip wine while curled up on the couch watching the fire in the fireplace. My husband and I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much Wayne for sharing your cozy little cabin with us!

A really great "cabin" overlooking a wooded valley, quiet and in the country and yet close to the Pittsburgh airport (about 15 mins mostly on interstate). We rented the whole house (where the basement can be rented separately) which was perfect for our extended family group. The owner's suite on the third floor has a great deck to overlook the valley with morning coffee, and the main floor is spacious, full kitchen, cathedral ceilings, and a word burning fireplace that you can use. A great spot to stay in this area of the Pittsburgh metro area.

What an incredible cabin. The location, property and amenities were amazing. We loved our stay. We enjoyed the quiet and celestial big night sky. We truly felt one with nature. We already decided that we will be back this summer if it’s available so we can enjoy the water activities. Neina was a wonderful host and kept in touch to make sure that had everything that we needed. Great cabin and amazing host. Can’t wait to go back.

The Lodge at Starr Farm took my breath away when I entered the space. It has true "classy" country charm with elegant lighting. The upstairs master bedroom was spectacular with mural and private bath with tub - WOW! The overall space lent itself to a variety of activities occurring at the same time with multiple dining areas. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.

A wonderful beautiful peaceful place in the woods!! It was even better than the description! Located close to a park with great waterfalls and trails! We went to three waterfalls in one day! We also found two excellent restaurants nearby, Country kitchen for a delicious breakfast and Shakespeare pub with amazing lamb. Jenni was super responsive and helpful! I plan to go again!!

Our second time there for a girls trip, Anita’s cabin was once again wonderful. Everything you could possibly need and more. Thank you again for the wonderful note and bottle of wine on arrival.
