We had a really lovely stay and apart from an initial misunderstanding which was quickly and easily resolved, our stay was perfect. It was lovely to dump our cases so that we could enjoy Bath, it was great to have a slightly later check-out of 11 and it was lovely to dump our cases to enjoy lunch without trundling them around Bath. The house was perfect for our needs!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in one of the Shepards hut. The views were amazing, the place was very tidy and all the recommendations of where to visit and eat nearby were super helpful. Thank you very much :)

We had a perfect stay at the lodge! Beautiful property with equally beautiful surroundings. It’s well equipped and lovely to have use of hot tub, bbq etc! Lots of nice places to walk for food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay - thank you!

We adored our stay at Acre Lodge! You can tell the amount of care and quality that has gone into the lodge, and it also shows in the hospitality that Janet and Graham provide. The nature surrounding the lodge is lovely, as is walking around the village, and enjoying the night sky from the well set-up backyard. Janet and Graham were responsive and kind — when we needed support with fixing something, they were immediately attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth! We were grateful and it lent to an incredible, relaxing weekend in the Cotswolds. Looking forward to returning in the future!

We are a couple in our 30’s, we visited over Easter with our dog. It was very easy to check in to the cottage once we arrived, the location was very private and peaceful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, it had everything we needed and was so cosy! We had even been left a welcome box with some cupcakes/crisps, wine and an Easter egg which is such a nice touch! The decor is so nice, kitchen was great as we like to cook dinners on staycations and the bathroom is lovely! Also made great use of the hot tub every day! We walked around the village a lot with the dog, there is a nice village shop and a pub a 5 min walk from the cottage which was dog friendly and had a really nice vibe! We had a roast there for lunch on the Sunday also and this was great! We had an amazing stay and we would definitely come back, we loved how close by all of the other Cotswold villages were for visiting and this was such a nice base to come back to each day! This place covers all the bases for a great stay for a big family get together! Excellent communications, nice welcome and then all the things to keep three families from ages 3-16 entertained. Private pool great, Games Room great, Hot Tub was spot on and actually hot (unlike so many that aren't)! Sauna probably needs some renovation love. Bedrooms great, enough space. Devonshire Arms nice food, Halfway House nice beer and vibes. All the ingredients for a place to kick back and have some much needed family time. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Waddle, stunning and peaceful location, beautiful home with lovely soft furnishings and ornaments, impeccably presented and welcome gifts, which was a lovely touch. Hot tub was lovely but very, very hot so worth taking lid off a couple of hours before you get in. Only small grumbles, the key safe box is very hard to get into so took me 10mins as tricky with long nails and there are no curtains, just blinds, so the lights shone in the bedroom all night from around the lake and from 4am, the room was very bright with daylight! Being a dark room sleeper, I was up all night but luckily my sister lent me an eye mask the 2nd night! Howevr, our stay was amazing and the hosts are lovely, so look forward to booking again next year!

Jessie's place is lovely. The home is sweet and magic. It's felt like a dream house, it's a peaceful atmosphere with stunning views, perfect to disconnect ans swicht off from the city to reconnect with nature. All of us felt in love with the house and its location and we would love to come back soon!

We had such a lovely stay at Jan’s place with the entire family for the Easter break. A great place to go with friends and family, with activities available for everyone. Would highly recommend!

Olivia’s house is lovely - plenty of space for everyone and great amenities (games room, TVs, speakers, hot tube etc.). Olivia lives in the house next door and was wonderful, always checking that everything was okay and helping when our fob broke. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The accommodation was perfect for our family of 9, plenty of space, it was well appointed and there was a good choice of cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. Although we didn’t use the outside space much due to the weather the hot tub was great. The hosts were very responsive and sorted out a couple of minor issues swiftly.

The place matched and exceeded the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and well decorated. There was an abundance of cutlery, utensils, dinnerware, etc. Management company were extremely communicative before and through-out. Would 100% recommend this house for future traveler's.

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top

It’s a wonderful place for family to get away from city life.

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

Fantastic stay for secluded rest/relaxing with amazing views. Woodland walks from the doorstep great for walking the dog and the longer recommended walk over to Tintern. Kids also loved the rope swing! Many thanks

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife for a relaxing break, very peaceful and relaxing. Easy to check in and out. Denise left a few goodies for us which was a nice touch. Tea,coffee and a few breakfast items were also waiting for us. A great base to explore some local history We went to puzzlewood which is only a 15 minute drive away and Offa’s dyke that has stunning views that is another 10 minutes further away. All together we had a lovely time. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

A beautiful retreat for 2 very peaceful nights away with my wife and our two Labradors. The retreat is very private and quiet but only a 5 minute drive from town and a 10 minute walk to the local pub. Our dogs made full use of the field as we made full use of the hot tub.

Amazing place! The star is definitely the view while soaking in the hot tub. The hut has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The kitchen is enough to prepare simple meals and bbq. The location is near so many places to visit like Bath and Wells. The hut was easy to find and Andrew was very helpful in explaining everything. He was also very responsive. We will definitely be back.
