Looking for a peaceful, beautiful serene weekend getaway, this is the place. Solo trip for a little R&R, or romantic quality time, you'll not go wrong with Mawe Villa. We had a great time, we only wish we had booked for 2 nights. Host Benjamin was responsive and helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay at Yvonne’s place. The house had more than enough room for our family (3 adults + 2 kids). We spent hours in the backyard enjoying family meals, playing in the garden, or using the swing. The staff were so kind to our kids and they really felt like family by the end of the week. Yvonne was also super responsive to all of our questions. We would absolutely stay here again — in fact we plan to!

We had the most wonderful stay! After a long flight, we were warmly welcomed by our fantastic hosts, Karin and AJ. The comfortable beds ensured we had a great night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was spotting giraffes from our rooftop (the perfect place to watch the sunset) —we had no idea this would be possible in an Airbnb so conveniently located in Nairobi! The pool is amazing too, offering a perfect place to relax after a busy day in the city, with enough space to practice yoga. We even saw warthogs while having breakfast! Truly a magical stay with wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place in the hearth of Nairobi, which feels like you are in the middle of the forest.

We LOVED the Masai lodge villa! Stunning view and a genuine nature experience close to Nairobi for us, two Swedish families with teenagers. We also enjoyed the pool at the lodge and the short walk to the bridge and Kitengela glass center. A small minus: there were not enough facilities in the house for self service for example no can opener or ability to brew coffee. Very! Rough road to get there. The uber driver was not happy. We also had to wait for the villa to be cleaned. But on the other hand we had plenty of time to check out, very relaxed which we enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Bonsai Villa felt like home the moment I stepped in! Duncan is a fantastic host and all the staff are heartily welcoming, very warm, friendly and ready to help you with anything at all times: show you around their beautiful gardens, send you updates about interesting events, show you safest and cheapest ways to get around, recipes of Kenyan dishes ... The villa is located in one of the most beautiful and safest neighborhoods, surrounded by beautiful and gigantic vegetation, right next to Karura Forest. The terraces & gardens are full of beautiful tress, flowers, shrubs, & herbs carefully tended to by the staff, making the ambience very peaceful and pleasant. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest at all times of the day. If you are a foodie or traveling alone, you will absolutely love the huge common kitchen on the ground flower where you can socialize with the other guests, staff and cook. I call this house a home; I will always stay at Bonsai Villa when in Nairobi!

We had a great stay at this rustic getaway! There are a few routes to get there, but going through Corner Baridi was the easiest...our 4x4s handled it just fine in light rain. The place has a charming, earthy feel, with each bedroom creatively themed after African kings, which added a nice touch of character. Brian, the housekeeper, was responsive and helpful throughout. For a small extra fee, they collected firewood and set up a lovely bonfire for us. The food was tasty, though the kitchen team seemed disorganized when the main chef wasn’t around, so timing was a bit off. Still, all things considered, it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, character-filled escape from the city.

Village Villa is fantastic! Great & safe location right next to Village Market Mall with great local scenes, restaurants, gym, USA Embassy & UN next door. Great WiFi, super friendly staff. The Villa is in between Diplomatic missions which gives one a special sense of security and peace of mind in Nairobi. Duncan & his team are what great hosting is all about! The beautiful garden at the back was a great asset to bask in on sunny days. Real value for money. Highly recommended!!

*Location: Far from main road (about 20min on a dirt road). However, still very accessible and could be counted as a plus if you're looking for a private location; away from disturbance. *The place: Exactly as described. Has all amenities mentioned. Beautiful & well equipped kitchen. Security guard available to take care of any extra vehicles parked outside. Beautiful pool-side area. Clean towels in all bedrooms. *Staff: Irene, our chef, was very helpful with curating the menu. The cooking was first class! Emmanuel, the groundsman, was very helpful with our check-in, setting up our grill as well as lighting a bonfire. Both went above & beyond; stayed very late on our first night to make sure we were okay before they left. Christine, our host, was very responsive and communicated useful info before, during and at the end of our stay. Even accorded us an extra hour to check out *Overall: Very pleased with my stay here. Recommended for family/friends getaway. Definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay! It was a family trip, 2 adults, 2 kids. The house is beautiful and the staff are even better. We were well taken care of from delicious breakfasts to coordination of local activities. They coordinated most of our rides, but Uber is easy use. Uber Eats so also an option if you don’t want to go out. The UN and Village Market are close with restaurants, local shopping, and fun activities. At the house, the kids played in the pool almost everyday with a beautiful banana tree providing the ambience, truly peaceful and idyllic! We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you! We miss you already!

This host was very helpful, very accommodating.They provided water and towels for us to dry. There were cameras in the home But the host did reassured us that the cameras didn't work and said that they will remove them.otherwise we would have stayed overnight. Beautiful waterfall outside and lots of rooms. Cool pool table.

I booked village villa for a friend who was traveling for work. He really enjoyed the space. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mary the host made it a point to come welcome him herself. The proximity to the UN office made it convinient for him to walk to the office and back which is amazing and restaurants were just next door at village market so he was able to try out some local food. The stay was superb!

Great place close to westlands. Very reasonable & Josh is a great host.
