Such a unique and beautiful stay!! Kim & Collin were the best hosts, so friendly, helpful and flexible. The river and waterfall by the house are magical. The room is cozy and the bathroom is big and pristine. It was such an adventure and Portland is so special. Big thanks to Kim & Collin I can’t wait to be back 💛❤️💚

Ce séjour était sans nul doute le plus dépaysant de notre voyage! Situé de l’autre côté d’une petite rivière, niché dans la végétation, vous dormirez très confortablement avec les bruits de la jungle dans véritable sentiment de sécurité. Colin nous a accueilli avec une belle énergie et nous avons passé une super soirée à écouter du reggae avec les autres voyageurs. Ambiance familiale dès le premier soir ! Je recommande de faire des courses à Port Antonio avant d’arriver (il y a une cuisine) ou de demander un bon repas de Colin (nourriture locale en bonne quantité). Bien que la connexion internet fonctionne très bien sur site, il vaut mieux avoir des données ou pouvoir passer un appel à vos hôtes pour la traversée à votre arrivée. La cerise sur le gateau : la plus belle cascade de la région à 10 min à pied! Assurez-vous de prévoir suffisamment de temps pour faire toutes vos activités à Port Antonio ET profiter de la rivière et de la cascade, ressourcement et déconnexion garantis !

Great location, on Negril's 7 mile beach. Better than being on the beach. A simple walk across the street and still on the Owner's property. Easy beach access, with simple traditional (Momma's) Jamaican food and a beach bar. After all of the day's entertainment, it's nice to come back to the quieter side of the street. Hidden Paradise is a long-time traditional family-run operation. Most of the staff have been here for years. There is always a security man at the gate. Not that it ever felt needed, but you know the place is secure from any outside influence. Unwind and relax at the private rooftop pool, or take a nap. The grounds are immaculate with a Gardener that never quits. Housekeeping was impeccable. The basic rooms are certainly sufficient, or the larger units have a kitchen. You can step outside the gate and watch the evening street entertainment and enjoy Bigg's Jerk Chicken; cooked while you wait and enjoy a cold Red Stripe. There is also a top-notch independent Restaurant.

The only thing more beautiful than the airBnB/ beach were the people. Amazing stay, private but with the option to socialize if you desire. The staff at silver sands(front desk, drivers, bartender, etc) are sweet and very accommodating. The cook and maid are absolute sweethearts! If it’s your first time, bring cash with you as ATMs with USD are rare. A lot of places do take card but there are some that do not, plus, you should tip when if able! 10/10 would recommend!

I booked Rohan & Mauricia’s place for our family to spend some quality time together for the holidays. It was perfect for the occasion and we made some wonderful core memories here. Reading some of the other reviews I was a little hesitant before booking but I was pleasantly surprised with our stay, zero complaints. The area was tranquil, very peaceful. A one-of-a-kind authentic Jamaican experience in the countryside. It was remote, but only minutes away from Mandeville town by car. The property was spacious, clean and safe. Hot tub was a highlight! Kemar, who lives on site, made our stay go from great to exceptional. On arrival, the house was well stocked with all the essentials-soap, water, TP, etc. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. Throughout our stay, Kemar went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had. He also took us to a local farm to buy fresh produce direct from the ground for our chrismtas meal. That in itself was a experience to remember. Thank you!

The location is perfect, it’s away from the hustle and bustle and it’s 5 mins to the beach, restaurants and some attractions. When I checked in the manager met me by the main and escorted me to the property which was amazing because I usually get lost easily. They have a cleaner, a round town driver and a cook!! All the staff were amazing, responsive and friendly. The cook did her thing and made me a delicious meals and that made it feel like home, It did come at a little extra cost but it was worth it 100% . In the morning I woke up to gentle bird singing and when I went outside I saw a bunny rabbit just being simple and beautiful. I enjoyed this stay because it brought me inner peace and reminded me that the simple things are what makes life beautiful. This property brought me peace! I’m definitely booking again. Die Lage des Cottage ist wunderschön, etwas außerhalb des Ortes, sehr ruhig gelegen und der große Garten ist beeindruckend angelegt. Es ist perfekt um eine entspannende und erholsame Zeit zu verbringen und zu genießen. Gisi ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Unforgettable Villa was absolutely beautiful! My girl friend and I wanted to be in the sun, on the beach, without too many distractions, and that is exactly what we got. The Villa is far from the airport and the roads and rough, which should be considered when booking. The groundskeeper, Juba, was wonderful and definitely contributed to the incredible experience we had during our stay— he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful of our space. The property itself was very beautiful… being able to walk out onto our balcony each morning to watch the pelicans hunt and the fish jump around, followed by beautiful sunsets in the evening was just breathtaking. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for our little slice of heaven!!

Mulberry Cottage exceeded all expectations for us. It was the most perfect, peaceful Jamaican hideaway. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Mine had a fabulous large bath tub and an enclosed area outside the back door with an outside shower ...water spurting from a large shell in the wall. Heaven. I used this most of the time. Tia Maria has paid great attention to detail to make things pretty and comfortable. There is lots of hot water and the wifi was very good. I love the verandah at the front of the cottage where we sat reading on cushioned day beds. I felt so sad to leave Mulberry Cottage as I totally loved it. We were attending a fun, sociable wedding but to return home to this sanctuary was the perfect contrast to all the partying.

It was an absolute joy to stay at Easyman’s place for 1 week. Portland is a natural paradise, hidden away from the main tourist spots it feels like authentic Jamaica I loved being surrounded by nature, all the tropical plants, trees & animals. The neighbourhood felt safe & friendly, music plays loud through the night if you want to go for a drink at the many small bars along the road The cabin is simple but has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped, bed is comfy (with mosquito net), cold shower is refreshing, fan keeps you cool at night… Yes there are a couple of bugs but this is natural living! Winnifred Beach is just a 10-15 min walk through the forest…. It’s not a luxury beach but a beautifully natural beach which I walked to everyday! I enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear sea & the home made jerk chicken from Doreen’s is delicious If you want an escape from the city, to enjoy the simple beach life & to connect with nature - I highly recommend this place

I'm a repeat patron of Wilton House and have stayed in two of the other bungalows on the property. I believe this is her newest property and I would definitely stay here again. The unit is a VERY spacious studio with a full kitchen, full bath, and well-defined sleeping quarters. It is true to the photos and Shekeria couldn't be a more accessible/responsive (but unobtrusive) host. There are multiple bungalows and apartments on the Wilton House property, but they are spread out across the lush grounds and every unit I've stayed in (including this one) feels completely private. The sea views from the property are great and Bluefields public beach is just steps away. Overall, great stay.

This was my second time staying at the cottage. It’s so peaceful and spacious and clean. The garden with various fruit trees and herbs is super lush and relaxing. John is an excellent host, he provided all the transportation as requested, including the airport. He’s an excellent cook of ital natural foods. He was always available to go to the beach at nine mile or to pick up groceries and also to restaurants and bars. There are beautiful cliff side hotels nearby with great spas (Rock House). It’s a natural lifestyle in an authentic Jamaican setting.

We found this Little Cottage to be a wonderful place of respite. A tranquil, relaxing setting was exactly what we needed and we were so grateful to have found it. A few maintenance issues were quickly resolved thanks to communicative host. Conroy was a great help as well and we did a bit of food shopping nearby which allowed us to prepare simple meals. The water is rather deep so it’s important to watch the tides and be confident in one’s swimming abilities. WiFi was superb and the shady hammock, covered porch, and outdoor seating allowed us to spend most of our time outside even when it rained.

This hidden gem was my first Airbnb experience, and it certainly won’t be my last! Although I arrived later than planned, my hosts went above and beyond, guiding me through winding backroads in the dark to the off-beaten path where the cottage is tucked away. Even at night, the place was breathtaking, and by morning, the view was simply to die for. The cottage combines rustic charm with modern comfort, surrounded by lush greenery and a beautiful herb garden, embodying a true “farm-to-fork” experience. Melecia and Antonette made me feel like a treasured guest, and I left feeling recharged and already eager to return!

Peaceful environment. Great Host, Great Community, Lovely people and great introduction of Jamaica. 🇯🇲 This place is a home away from home. Book here and you won’t be disappointed. There is a river nearby where my family and I got a chance to go to to wash our clothes. Andrea is a great host and a beautiful soul. Her husband gave us lots of different fruits that we were able to try and it made our stay even that much more better. Their grandmother on the property is a very spiritual, nurturing and loving woman. I am so glad that I got a chance to be able to meet such amazing people. Thank you for the great experience. Mr. Byron is a SOLID guy; modest, dependable, and respectful - a real General. He is not a man of many words but, once you get him talking he is a phenomenal storyteller. While up on his yaad, enjoy the medicinal value of his land; he happily shares his fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Just ask. Enjoy the view!

Karlene and Lindon were both amazing! As I arrived before New Year’s they offered a wonderful suggestion for New Year’s Eve and even invited me to their beach festivities where we got an incredible view of the fireworks and fantastic live music The property is beautiful and natural as Lindon prides himself on doing the landscaping personally. There are friendly cats, hummingbirds, geckos and other wildlife/birds Karlene took the time to check in frequently; offering suggestions on day trips and activities. She also showed me how to make Ackee and Jerk chicken dishes from scratch; they have Ackee trees on the property There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance and daily trips to 7 Mile beach are extremely easy as regular taxis are constantly available for 200 Jamaican each way To sum up, visiting Jamaica for the first time was incredible. The genuine friendliness of the locals and the sense of safety in the community made it feel like a home away from home

Plus, having a host that is caring, welcoming, and right there to support your every need, is always a bonus! our stay at Claudia's place was exactly what we hoped for, and actually exceeded expectations with respect to how comfortable and quiet it was. It truly felt like home and she was a wonderful host. We would absolutely stay there again!
